The Reclaimed are a group of survivors in The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners. The Reclaimed seek to live in a new world free of the rules of the past. They also practice ritualistic revenge on their path to justice.[1]
Post-Apocalypse[]
The Reclaimed were formed by Jean-Baptiste largely out of survivors who were exiled from the Tower. As such, their philosophy is diametrically opposed to the Tower, as the Reclaimed believe humanity shouldn't focus merely on day-to-day survival, and must forge a new path forward. They put emphasis on self-expression and liberation, unlike the Tower, who have a strict hierarchy and code. Being outnumbered and outgunned by the Tower, the Reclaimed often rely on guerrilla warfare and scare tactics, such as hanging dismembered bodies from trees.
Months after the Reserve tragedy, Mama and the Tower was able to cut down on the Reclaimed and nearly wipe out all of what's left. A former reclaimed survivor named Echo survives the Towers attacks and joins Sable's Revolution against the Tower. JB eventually goes missing and nobody, not a single person in NOLA, knows where he's gone.
