The Savages is a group that appear in AMC's The Walking Dead.

Days after the Croat's arrival at the Sanctuary, the savages attacked, taking the Saviors by surprise and demanding that all of their provisions be handed over. Naturally, the Saviors expected Negan to fight back, but Negan astonished his followers by meekly surrendering instead. As a show of respect, Negan decided to honor the savages with a lavish feast with the Saviors providing all of the food and drink. The Saviors were utterly dismayed at having to serve their attackers and their fearless leader having seemingly disappeared, replaced by a man who gave up too easily. As recounted by Negan, the meal was one like "you have never seen. Bigger than before times. I'm talking 10 Las Vegas buffets lined up in a row. And then there was the main course, the meat. Venison, the finest that the forests of Virginia could offer. But see our guests, they didn't get that meat. No, see at the last second, I had my butchers switch it out... for walker meat." The savages become sick, throwing their guts up all night and by dawn, the Sanctuary's walker moat had grown considerably.

The savages were amongst the chained walkers on the perimeter fence to have been blown up after the Militia detonated an RV full of explosives at the Sanctuary in an attempt to have the Saviors' headquarters overrun.

The Croat and Negan tell Victor about the savages encounter with the Saviors while the Burazi are preparing to defend themselves against the New Babylon Army. The Croat relishes in telling the story, the main point of which is that Negan had protected them, and he gave their enemies exactly what they deserved. As the Croat walks away, Negan's mood sours again at the memory of who he used to be.
