The Saviors are a group that appears in The Walking Dead: All-Stars.

Post-Apocalypse

Negan's Story - Condition For Forgiveness

Negan goes on a run with four Saviors to get some bat polish for Lucille. While taking a leak on the way, the Saviors he was with go missing. He doesn't think much of it as he believes that they're at the baseball store they were heading too. He reaches the store and doesn't find his Saviors. He grabs the polish, leaves, and starts looking for his men. He is eventually found by a group of Cannibals, although he doesn't initially know this. They invite him to their hideout. He asks them about if they know anything about his men, which they lie saying that they found a group of men who were killed by zombies. They offer Negan a plate of food. Negan, suspicious about the group's behavior and the food he sees, finally realizes that they are cannibals and begins to kill all of them.

Sherry's Story - Together

Sherry, Dwight, and Oliver search a house for supplies. In the house, she finds some Christmas lights and is reminded of how Dwight proposed to her. She eventually finds music recorder and pockets it to listen to music. Just as she's about to leave, she's captured by Negan and his Saviors where he introduces himself to the three.

John's Story - Going With the Flow

John and three other Saviors are talking to a little girl, trying to convince her to take them back to her group. The third Savior, Kevin starts to get frustrated and threatens to kill the girl if they don't get answers. John smacks him and tells him that's not how things are done with them. Kevin threatens to tell Negan, but John calls his bluff. John says that they'll leave the little girl be and no one will say anything to Negan; however, just as they're about to leave, the girl's parents approach them. Despite not wanting to do it, he forces her parents to kneel and introduces himself to them.

Dwight's Story - Sympathetic Gesture

Dwight is hanging out in Sanctuary rec room with five other Saviors. One of the Saviors ask Dwight if he known anything about the new prisoners. Another Savior says that the two prisoners should be separated, yet another Savior says it won't matter as they'll be separated soon enough. Another Savior talks about how he's sick of there being so many "wives" as it's distracting him from his drinking, something that makes everyone laugh. He also hopes that Dwight doesn't mind the joke given his history with the system, but Dwight seemingly brushes off the comment. The last Savior talks about how he's on guard duty for the prisoners that night. Later that night, when the guarding savior is asleep, he grabs the keys to the cell and opens it up. He tells the two prisoners to follow him. One of the prisoners asks Dwight why he's doing this, but he doesn't answer, instead giving them directions to a nearby community. The other prisoner thanks Dwight and they both leave.

Beta & Dwight & Rosita's Story - Alone Time

Dwight is on a supply run with three saviors, one of them being Jonas. They track down a woman who's picking up mushrooms in hopes she'd lead them to her group. Suddenly the two unnamed Saviors fall in a trap hole with spikes in them while Jonas is killed with an arrow to the face. Dwight tries to hide and defend himself in the ambush. He finds a motorcycle and recognizes it as having belonged to Mendy who went missing with two other saviors two months prior. Dwight remembers how Negan was more angry about the mssing bikes than the missing men. Dwight manages to escape the ambush and reaches a fork in the road. He considers running away from The Saviors himself, but remembers how he can't leave Sherry and heads back home.

The Governor & Alpha & Negan's Story - Different But The Same

Negan and Dwight go to where a group of Saviors are, as they have just come across a new group. When they arrive however, they notice how there's been a battle and a grenade was thrown. Negan questions the Savior why he killed these people as "People Are A Resource". The Savior tells him that they attacked them first, killing Eddie and Delores in the process. Negan sees a survivor from the attack and proceeds to beat the man's head in with Lucille, much to Dwight's dissaproval.

Laura's Story - Nicotine

Laura goes with Renee to a nearby sheriff's office to get supplies. In the office, Laura finds a pack of cigarettes. The duo are quickly surrounded by the dead and Renee is bitten. Seeing this, Laura quickly kills Renee and leaves her to be eaten by the dead, before leaving the sheriff's office.

Trivia

• This version of the Saviors has many differences compared to it's comic counterpart.
  • It's shown that Negan actually started the Saviors before he met Sherry's Group, as opposed to its comic counterpart where the Saviors were formed from the merge of Dwight's group and another group.
  • It's shown that Negan was allowed to stay in power after the war and therefore neither Sherry nor John ever led the group.
• John and Gavin can be seen in Negan's concept art along with the rest of the Saviors. The concept for the image was eventually used for The Walking Dead: All-Stars - Intro; however both characters were cut from the finished product.
  • The concept art was eventually made official when it was used to advertise Negan's character trial run within the game.
  • Mark, Paul, Mike, and Carson also make cameos in the intro.
