The Walking Dead: Onslaught is an upcoming VR game, based on AMC's The Walking Dead.
The game will be released on PC, and PlayStation VR.
The Walking Dead: Onslaught will be released physically on PlayStation VR on October 9, 2020. There will be four different editions: Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, Survivor Edition, Limited Edition.
Plot
The Walking Dead Onslaught turns you into a desperate survivor struggling against the relentless walker threat, while confronting both the horrors and humanity of this apocalyptic new world.[1]

- The events of the game have been confirmed to take place between "Wrath" and "A New Beginning" and will be considered canon to the TV series universe.[2]
- The song used in The Walking Dead: Onslaught - Gameplay Trailer is "Let It Rain On Me" by The Fake Arts & Matthew Simon Clark.
- The red machete that is included in the Deluxe Edition is nicknamed "Mandy". This is a reference to the The Walking Dead Webisodes: Red Machete series in which it's revealed the original and current owner of the machete was a girl named Mandy. Additionally, the red machete even has Mandy's name carved into as featured in the webisode.
- This game confirms Michonne's last name to be Hawthorne.
- Daryl mentions going to an evacuation point once with his brother Merle. This is a reference to The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct.
- Three of the Scavengers' missions are given by characters Maggie Rhee, Negan and Eugene Porter from the show.
- Morgan Jones gives you a letter saying that he is leaving. This is a reference to how Morgan Jones left Virginia and travelled to Texas.
- There are three graffitis in the game that refers to certain things from the show.
- The first graffiti is with the letters JSS. This is a reference to Enid.
- The second graffiti refers to the Terminus and Grady Memorial Hospital.
- The third graffiti is with the sentence King County is overrun.
- The spiked walker in this game is based on Winslow, a spiked walker that appeared in "New Best Friends".
- One of the companies you can find is called Trust A Move. A truck from this company appeared in "The First Day of the Rest of Your Life".
