The Walking Dead: The Dice Game is a dice game based on Image Comics' The Walking Dead. The game is made by Mantic Games, who also developed The Walking Dead: All Out War Miniatures Game and Here's Negan - The Board Game.

Rick Grimes is recruiting for an open slot in his group of hardy survivors and you are determined to prove your worth.

Players take the role of the hopefuls who are required to undertake a live supply run by exploring a known hot zone infested with Walkers and other survivor groups! Who can recover the biggest stash of resources as they explore the rooms and vehicles of the abandoned town? 2+ players take turns to explore as far as they can through the Exploration Deck, whilst battling enemies and gathering supplies. Will you be overwhelmed by the Walker horde, or will you escape?

Trivia

• Dedicated fans were able to get special pre-launch editions (which included bonus cards) at San Diego Comic-Con, and at Gen Con during the summer of 2023.
• This game marks the first time Mantic Games has made a new The Walking Dead related game since their discontinuation of The Walking Dead: All Out War Miniatures Game in 2022.
• On June 28th, alongside the announcement of The Walking Dead: The Dice Game, Ronnie Renton of Mantic Games announced on Facebook that if there were enough fan demand, Mantic Games would look into working with Skybound Entertainment to finish the remainder of character packs for The Walking Dead: All Out War Miniatures Game.
  • This would later come to fruition as on December 1st 2023, Mantic Games announced a revival and continuation of The Walking Dead: All Out War Miniatures Game to come in 2024.
