The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - Collection is a collection of the first three seasons of The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series, as well as the Michonne miniseries. It was announced on November 1st, 2017 and released on December 5th, 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One.

Now, the first three critically acclaimed seasons, an anthology, and a mini-series starring the blade-wielding icon Michonne are available for the first time in one package.

Changes

Some notable changes were made with the release of the Collection:

General Changes

• The graphics and lighting of the games were updated.
• The menus and UI of Season 1, Season 2, and the Michonne mini-series are changed to match the style of A New Frontier.
• The recap segments and "Next Time On" segments are removed from every episode.
• The credit songs present in the original versions of No Time Left, All That Remains, A House Divided, In Harm's Way, Amid The Ruins, No Going Back, and Give No Shelter are removed.
  • This could possibly be due to licensing issues.

Season One

• The inability to use the directional pad due to the updated UI leads to some sequences being slightly changed:
  • When fighting Andy in "Starved For Help", the player is only able to choose to have Lee punch him with his right hand, though Lee may randomly switch on his own.
  • Regardless of if Lee has two hands in "No Time Left", he will not pick up the glass shard before walking through the horde to the Marsh House.

400 Days

• Carley and Doug's corpses are slightly different:
  • Carley no longer has maggots in her eye sockets, her eyes are slightly open, and her rotting tongue is now visible through her mouth.
  • Doug no longer has has maggots in and around his mouth, and his eyes are slightly open.

Trivia

• For unknown reasons, this collection was never released for PC.
• Upon the announcement of The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series, this collection was removed from major digital storefronts.

Glitches/Errors

General Oversights

• Players may run into issues with their save files where a different choice may be select in-game than what they might have actually done.
• At times, the game may register the player as dead while they arere in the middle of completing a quick time event, forcing them to start over in the middle of a sequence.

Season One

• Various blood textures are missing throughout the game, such as the blood on Shawn Greene's neck when he is bitten and the blood on Lilly's face if Lee doesn't help Kenny kill Larry.
• In "Long Road Ahead", a glitch may appear where the player is unable to enter the RV in order to get the pencil needed to find the train instructions.

Season Three

• In "Thicker Than Water", Javier can sometimes be seen sliding rather than walking when he and the group go to steal a truck from the New Frontier.
