The Walking Dead Encounter

The Walking Dead Encounter was an app that was part of a partnership between Skybound Entertainment and Mountain Dew allowed you to create short scenes using notable walkers from AMC's The Walking Dead during Season 8 original air dates.

Throughout the eighth season, fans can unlock a total of 20 walkers by scanning the packaging of more than 100 million individual Mountain Dew products in store locations across the country. Additionally, Mountain Dew commercials aired during each week’s live episode will also unlock new walkers using audio watermark technology.

Using the scene creator in the mobile app, fans can place and perfectly scale an AR Zombie in their own environment to capture the perfect picture or video to share across social.
