• I have a hunch what wil happen in terms of death in the mid-season finale. This is just a suggestion, I don't want any of these to die. Beth, might confront Dawn and die a hero. Maybe Sasha hasn't gotten over Bob yet and will join him? Those are just possible predictions IMO.

Who do you think will die?

    • Several police officers, mostly the uncredited ones (Bello, Alvarado, Tanaka) will probably die, maybe along with Lamson, Licari and O'Donnell? Ok maybe all the police officers besides Dawn. OH maybe Lamson will execute/snipe Dawn as she tries to make a deal with Rick. Then Lamson becomes the new villain and cue cliffhanger into 5B (of course it'll be a quick resolution in 5x09 and they leave Atlanta)

Also maybe Dr. Edwards and Beth. Or Sasha (not sure, need to check filming sightings). Hopefully none of the patients, they're all innocents.

    • I'm expecting Beth, Bello, Alvarado, Tanaka, Licari, Lamson & O'Donnell to die in this episode. The only two I'm unsure about is Shepherd and Carol.

    • The closer we get to the mid season finale, the more likely it feels that a Bad Thing will happen to Carol, later in season 5 if not in the next episode. In TWD developing a character (so that they become important to the audience) equals a greater danger of death. There's no point in killing off characters we don't care about, and Carol has had a *lot* of development recently to get us to care about her.

    • I think Tyreese is going to die because I feel like his arc as a character has been wrapping up ever since 'the grove'. I also feel like it's a toss up between Beth and carol because of the one moment when Beth was like "I want you to know that I was here", that moment just screamed 'they never going to meet again'. I think that dawn will die and the officers will just be like 'we can deal with that'. I think the two other officer will live but Lamson will die.

    • Carol, most likely. This depresses me, since she is my favorite. Dawn is a 50/50. Same with Edwards. Beth makes sense story-wise, but I don't see them killing her off. So probably Carol, maybe Dawn and definately minor cops. Maybe Noah?

    • I think it's gonna be Beth. I read a few interviews online that state that they haven't seen Emily Kinney on the sets for future episodes. When that usually happens, it means that the character the actor was playing has been killed. (Of course it might be that the next few eps don't include Beth, like she's disappeared again, but it doesn't seem likely that they'd pull that same trick again. I mean, they already had Beth vanish when she got taken by the car, so a second time would be redundant.)

Plus, Beth is one of the nicest characters, and sadly it's always the nice ones who usually go first.

    • If Beth AND Carol die... that would mean that the rescue mission was a waste of time, efforts and lives! i think just Carol will die... she will succumb slowly to her injures and have a sweet goodbye

Also Tyresse is going to save Sasha and die in the process.

At the hospital not everyone must die, someone has to take over place and people, maybe Lamson with Sheppard... all the other cops will die including Dawn and Dr. Stevens as well

    • I really think Carol and Tyresse will die along with Dawn.

Maybe Beth's going to die before Carol regains conciousness; Carol would never know she was there then.

She already does, as Noah told her in the last episode that Beth was at the hospital.

Yes, I think this will happen in next episode, you can see RIck alone with cops on the street and Sasha on the rooftop with sniper rifle. I think they are going to remake this scene from comics:

    • I have really been spending a lot of time looking at all the article about Coda, thinking about the comics, and thinking about the direction of the show.  No one is really talking about the possibility of Daryl dying in this episode.  Here is my reasoning.

We all know the Alexandria Safe-Zone is next for the group.  There are going to be many new characters making their entrance soon.  Is there room for Daryl?  Norman Reedus cried for an hour after reading the script for this episode.  I believe it wasn't due to Beth or Carol being written off the show but his own character.

Now that doesn't mean he will be the only one to die.

I don't believe Carol will die because I see her playing the Andrea role in the comics.  Rick and Andrea have have a physical relationship in the comics and I believe this could happen with Rick and Carol in the future.  Even though Sasha is great shot with a sniper rifle, I don't see her being in a relationship with Rick.

Beth could die but I think it would be crappy for her to die without being reunited with Maggie.  She could also take the future Sophia role from the comics.

I don't think Tyrese will die because it would be hard to keep Sasha from losing her damn mind.  If Ty does die they could have Sasha allow herself to get bitten like Carol did in the comics.

      Just my thoughts

    • SPOILER

Well, I can't say I'm surprised, but I am disappointed. Beth's gone, but at least she took Dawn with her.  I felt real pity for Maggie at the end.  In a way, Michone shouldn't have told her that Beth was still alive. I think by then Maggie had thought that she was already dead, then Michone told her she was alive and she got hope that her little sister was coming home, only to have it all dashed when she saw her body.  Why is it it's always the good ones who die?

Oh, I also noticed that none of the other hospital occupants didn't come out with Rick and lot.  I guess they were all too scared to face life on the outside, which I get, but I would've thought at least some of them besides Noah would have come, particularly that old guy who was being mistreated or the girls who were being raped.

    • It reminds me of when Carol's daughter Sophia died (the anguish and grief on Maggie's face when she saw Beth's body). At least Beth didn't die a walker.

That Gabriel's an idiot. I mean, what was he thinking when he left the church and ended up leading all the walkers there?  Part of me was almost wishing Michone and Carl would keep the doors locked and leave him to his fate (it would have been poetic justice in a way, considering that's what Gabriel did).

I am actually surprised that Carl didn't do that, as he's done a lot worse in his time, and by breaking the doors open and letting Gabriel in he put his sister Judith in grave danger.

To be honest  think a few will come (if not most) I just don't think they had left the building straight away. I think the key to someone like Carol's redemtion will be the fact she has finally saved some people, maybe not Beth like she planned but some others. I expect her to get close to at least one of them.
