The plot sypnosis of "The Damned" states that Rick will encounter "a familiar face". Who would that person be? I think it might be Jadis or another member of The Scavengers, but who do you think it could be?

I mean, it would be extremely stupid if he just dies next episode.
You seem quite annoyed already buddy XD
Just go with it instead of fighting it, at this point realism is out of the window.

It's a TV show with walking corpses. Most TV shows aren't realistic to begin with, since they are TV shows.
I hope he gets the recognition and depth he was never given in S1. Tbh, half the viewers probably don't even remember him, but story-wise, his very foregoing acquaintance with Rick definitely has the potential to add something interesting atop this surplus of action we're getting.
Season 1: The Vatos (Guillermo, Felipe, Miguel, etc) - Small gang of a few latin-americans and some elderly people that they are looking after. If you remember Rick's initial bag of guns and ammo, he gave half of it to these guys. Seemed like they were a good group of dudes (despite being a gang) and I certainly found them interesting enough to see again.
Season 2: Nate - If you remember Rick, Herschel, & Glenn's encounter with the guys at the bar, you might remember that the guys they killed were part of a larger group. They quoted the number around 30 or so, which is rather significant considering where the show was at the time. I'm assuming this was never explored due to them wanting the Woodbury folks to be the first major antagonist group, but they were still a large enough force that could have served to make the story more interesting. Nate is the fella that was seen driving off to save his own ass after walkers showed up to devour what was left of his homies.
Season 3/4: Woodbury Residents - There were some residents of Woodbury who we met, but weren't a part of the second raid on the prison. Some were explicitly shown as being gunned down by the Governor for their refusal, but there were quite a bit more who were not. The Governor later returned to burn down the town, but I find it hard to believe that not even one person would have escaped. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing what came of some of them, considering they were good people that were just following a bad guy.
Season 5: Grady Memorial Hospital - While they weren't all that interesting of a group outside of Dawn, and even less so now that the only other links to it are dead (Beth & Noah), their situation was IMO. They had a legitimate doctor, and seemed like they had the means to defend themselves from zombies. Another group would probably tear them apart, but it appeared they had all the necessities for a sustained community.
The vatos were seen in a deleted scene as overrun and many elders dead, and I know it's not considered canon, but it's likely what happened to them.
Nate is just too obscure. also, their group was called "the living" and I think we sorta got their leader's fate through the social game which was on facebook once, and tied to the TV series.
All of the woodbury residents are officially confirmed dead. Like all of them.
The hospital people are also quite insignificant at this point, Dr. Stevens is their only prominent character left, and his ties as you mentioned to the main group are dead.
I respect your opinion, but I haven't seen anyone asking for the return of other groups. Yes I said, I'd like to see the reappear at any point in time, but that's how fans are. Some loose ends are meant to be tied up. Though if you read my big text above, I also said that I was more against it than with it. As it would lower the surprise level of the show and then we (the fans) would be expecting past characters to pop up everytime someone is held at gunpoint. And that would be futile to the show and it would all crash and burn. Then again I did say, if they were planning to bring back any more, then it needs to be at a very long, long time from now in the show. But if my words above (the big response) is correct, in terms of speculation; then we can all expect to not see any past characters at the very least for a long, long time. Most likely, zero more.
I wasn't referring to you, if that's how it felt. I'm talking about the comment section of IGN's video on the episode. Mix IGN with TWD and the results will be depressing at best.
If you know you gonna get depressed watching an IGN video on the walking dead, why you watching them in the first place lol?
Didn't sound like that. I've seen you upset with twd quite a lot so took it as another thing that annoyed you about it XD
