• Is it safe to assume that by the end of Season 9 episode 16 that the remaining ones you marked as unknown are dead? Because Sanctuary's abandoned and there were 20 Saviors in Jed and Regina's group is it safe to assume they were likely burned alive? I don't think we're going to see Potter, Mel or Gina ever again.

    • Potter we'll see again. The others, no idea.

    • I don't really care about them the ones on my hit list are all dead now. Regina, Jed and Norris. With DJ it depends whether he will go back to his old ways just like these 3 did.

    • But I don't really think we're going to see the ones that are marked unknown ever again except for Dwight, Sherry, Tanya, Frankie and Amber

    • I've marked Potter, Mel, Tanya, Frankie, Amber, Jose, Brooke, Gina, and John as unknown since they were last seen alive in Season 8 and/or 9x01. With the 6 year time skip and confirmation that Sanctuary is no longer a community, we have no idea what happened to these folks. Best to leave them as unknown until we see them again (as part of other communities, Laura, DJ, and a bunch of Savior extras moved to Alexandria).

Other AHK characters like Barbara, Scott, Mrs. Robinson, Oscar, Kal, Eduardo, Bertie, Marco should all be left alive as they were last seen alive in 8x16/Season 9. Give them a chance to appear again as we see more of Alexandria/Hilltop next week etc. As season goes on and we don't see of the minor folks again, we can change back to unknown. I can't confirm but I heard a rumor that Oscar and Frankie return. So that's a good sign. We will probably see everyone at this fair/carnival that Ezekiel and Carol were talking about in 9x06.

    • I really hope we see Frankie, Tanya and Amber. I don{t give a shit about the rest.

    • What a hell of a way for Jed and Regina to go though.  Anyone else surprised about that?

    • Hopefully we won't have to wait until season 12 to realise that the unknown characters are dead would like to see Amber, Tanya, Frankie Sherry and Dwight. The rest are just cannon fodder, I think killing off Regina and Jed was the best decision to get rid of old villains and introduce the new ones.

    • Diwght and Sherry aren't coming back ever, their story is complete. Most likely in spin offs or one of the movies.

    • I hope to see more of Amber, Tanya, Frankie, and Potter, since Potter is the stand in for John in the comics. I just hope they haven’t rewritten off the Sanctuary and Dwight and all them so easily, they do still have roles in the comics.

Guess it has to do with Carol's storyline - showing how dark she can get. They could have killed off Jed and Regina in 9x05 but they wanted to show Carol burning them all last night (call back to when she burned those Saviors at the slaughterhouse in Season 6?)

As for Mark, he's most likely dead. Sort of like Huck and the others. But if people strongly feel that he should be unknown instead, that is fine. If they show Amber again somewhere, then there is a possibility that Mark is alive too.

    • And the problem with DJ is he's too easily swayed from 1 side to the other so I can't tell who's side he's really on. First the survivors side in premiere, then Jed's side for 5 episodes then back to Alexandria's side.

D.J. wasn't on the survivors side at first. He was just following the rules of the community. He's smart, he realized after the failed rebelion that it was better to let the past go and be a productive member of the communities and be a good person, instead of a hobo like Jed and Regina.

Mark might be a whisperer pike I haven't really seen him since season 7 to be honest and he wasn't in season 8 enough for me to even notice him so it's not that innappropriate to keep him as dead for now until we see him again.

I never liked Regina from the start glad she's finally gone.

    • ^ I liked pre 9x06 Regina. She was an interesting character, but once I saw that she went full feral in 9x06, I was waiting for her to get killed off. Could've been like Laura, a now 100% good and Team Alexandria, same with DJ. He even goes on the journey with Michonne and Siddiq next episode to Hilltop based off promo video & pics. Nice to see them actually assimilated into the communities.

I am going to re-watch the episode and see who I can spot of the Saviors. Hopefully some of the Sanctuary people moved into the Hilltop... I know of two Savior extras who joined Hilltop, so hopefully we see the former wives or something.

Austin Amelio is credited on IMDB as Dwight in the Walking Dead for Season 9, Episodes 14,15 and 16. So Dwight will be back. Not so sure about Sherry, but their story is far from over.

Anyone can edit IMDB. Is 2018, you should know that by now.

600 damn so much for re-building

    • Lol. A bunch of Saviors have joined the AHK communities since 906. Hilltop, Kingdom, Alexandria.

    • Alot of them are dead :D It's more noticable who's alive left of the Saviors in there now

    • did any of the actresses who played Tanya, Frankie, Amber or Sherry made any statement about the show or if are going to return?

        Loading editor
    • ^ Not sure, supposedly Frankie was spotted for 9x15. Just a rumor. But hey Oscar and Bertie finally returned this past Sunday and Barbara returns next week in 908. So it’s likely we will see the minor characters again (not so sure about the named workers though)

        Loading editor
    • I have a feeling if any of them do return, it will be the wives and maybe Potter. Don't have high hopes for José, Gina, Brooke, Mel, or John. We all know how bad they've been in the past with those type of characters (Crystal, Craig, Anna, Kent) but maybe Angela will bring them back. Not expecting it though.

        Loading editor
    • If I could have one wish for the show, it would be more reliability with lower level characters. They're never around, disapear for no reason, and the lack of named background characters often makes the communities feel empty.

I wish they had a team dedicated to C listers, who made sure they were properly utilised each episode, kept account of. The writers could literally write 'alexandrian says this'  and hand it over to the team to work out who the line best suits and if they can be inserted into any other scenes.

      never under-estimate familiar faces.
