• Since it has been confirmed that Troy will be returning, and we don't know if its a flashback or if he is actually alive, can we set him as unknown as he could be alive?

    • I think that it is highly unlikely that he could be alive: he received two fatal blows to the head. We saw the water wipe him away after a terrible explosion that broke an entire dam. Until we don't have more information or the episodes aired, I think that he's pretty dead and he will return in some kind of flashback, dream, hallucination or else.

    • Given that he was cracked over the head with a hammer and then trapped in a flooded room, I really don't see how he could have survived. I say he stays dead, unless proven otherwise

Fair enough, and I do agree that it will be so stupid if he is alive

    • I have a legit feeling he will be returning from the dead, but I think it's best we leave him as unknown until further info.

For the record, comicbook.com is the only news source that have reported on this news, and they didn't list a source other than someone internally coming to learn of it. Could easily be fake or just a rumour.

    • If he does indeed return from the dead, I will lose further respect for FTWD. I love both shows but Season 4 was such a disappointment (latter part of 4B got better...) and I hope they don't bring Troy back as alive. I see him being featured in flashbacks like an Althea Troy interview. Anyway, best for him to remain as dead.

Well, we literally saw Daryl shot in the head, Glenn hiding under Nicholas corpse, etc. Everyone thought they are dead but in finally they are alive. Everything have a explanation, and Troy may be Alive too, no one know.

This is different. Daryl was grazed by a bullet and shown to be alive 5 seconds later. The first Glenn death was revealed to be faked a couple of episodes later. Troy not only apeared dead, but the actors confirmed it and he's been gone for more than a season now.

I agree that Troy only logical return is through Althea's interview tapes. As Daniel, it can go in both ways if they writers want to do it that way.

    • It's really dumb if Troy is brought back at this point, killing Ofelia,Troy and Madison was the biggest mistakes the show has made and for that i gave up after Madison died.

He's dead. I bet they will bring him back as a walker or corpse maybe a flashback

Ofelia's actress wanted off the show, shouldn't we as fans respect her wishes. Troy was an interesting character but personally I liked Jake better. As for Madison I never liked her, and I find it ironic how for 3.5 years fans bitched and complained and hated on by fans. Yet the minute she dies all these people come out of the woodwork mad.

    • Personally I find troy coming back stupid. If they bring him back in the form of a flashback, tape, etc it does nothing for the story except provide fan service. Troy literally had his skull split in half and drowned! A hallucination could work but is also stupid.

Daniel on the other hand makes so much sense because they left his fate ambiguous. I could easily see him return as a person from one of Al's tapes that they find. He could be leading a community or could be like a Merle type situation with the Governor. The positives are almost endless.

Time doens't matter, when happens everyone will think it. And your line that Glenn death was fake a couple of episodes later literally confirme that everyone thought he was dead. But i think that troy will only come back for flashbacks too

    • TROY BELONGS DEAD! I already am confused that the wiki lists him as a former antagonist. He killed both Broke Jaw and Black Hat. He never turned good. Bottom line. LEAVE. HIM. DEAD! Troy surviving would be as impossible as Travis or Glenn and Abe surviving.

He was listed as former because he didn't do anything else to the protagonists since then, and even helped them. That doesn't mean he is a good person, but it does mean he can no longer be classified as an antagonist. But yeah, he is dead.

I never liked Troy anyway. I hated him as much as I hate Charlie in season 4.
