I know this might be a little generic of a question, but what's something you always thought would be cool to see on the show / comics;
- be it a storyline, character, villain or moment etc. Just something standout and unique.

Nah, it's on Fanfiction.net.
It's not something I want to see exactly, but something I'm wondering about.
I'm wondering if those born after the outbreak turn.
It'd be pretty brutal, which is why I'm not eager to see it.
And as it stands, the only children born post-Apocalypse that I can think of that have died are Judith and Christa's, and the aftermath isn't shown in either of these incidents.
If they don't, it could be a twist Kirkman springs on us later. It would almost definitely be revealed in the Comics first though if true.
This may sound a little weird, but after watching the most recent episode, Scars, one thing I would like to see (and it's something that is been floating around the back of my mind for a while) is more kids. It was said in Talking Dead after the show that kids have a very short lifespan on the show-- unless they are the likes of Judith or the child of some other important/semi-important character, and that is something that has always bothered me. What happened to them all? Surly some kids survived? Or were they all devoured?
We know Enid survived for a while by herself when she was fifteen/sixteen. In Fear, the fate of Tobias is unsure, but from conversation, he would have been a teen surviving by himself. There is Clementine in the video games. Not fully up to speed with the game, but didn't Clementine come across a boarding school that had kids surviving in it?
Are there other groups of kids out there? I don't necessarily mean like Jocelyn's group, but other groups of kids that managed to survive, either a boarding school, kids on a field trip that caught on the "wrong side of the line" when everything went down, hell, even a kid on vacation in the U.S. with his/her parents....
Like I said, it was something that has been floating around the back on my mind for a while... What do you guys think?

I think this is a case of real life writes the plot , as most kids either are not that great actors, or age too quickly for the story, but I think with the right material and actors, they can make it work. Obviously in the comics, Ben/Billy and Sophia are along for the ride for a long time, but their ages kinda meant they had to strip it down to Carl and Sophia, and we all know how she wanted off the show.
I'm excited to see what they do with Winnie in the future. Child villains are always great, and it'll be interesting to see what direction they take her if she comes back, which I suspect she will.
I actually think one of my favourite kid actors on the show is Charlie from Fear. She's got the childlike quality but also some pretty heavy storylines.
Looking forward to seeing if there's any child whisperers.

Of course it's down to the right material and actors.
There is always the fact of aging with a child actor, but if the speculations are right about another spin off series, then from Season One of that show and the timeframe we have now on the main show, that's an eight year difference. A lot of opportunity for time skips. Someone who was thirteen when the outbreaks began would be twenty one by the current season of the main show. Just an idea.
Yeah, looking forward to future Winnie storylines. Too big an opportunity for the writers to miss. Just have to wait and see.
Call me twisted if you want....but I've wanted to see this since Lori....an unborn baby turn into a walker while still in the womb and come ripping out of the mother, Alien style.
We're not even sure if those born after the outbreak turn. Unless anybody can correct me, I don't believe it's been witnessed across the entire franchise. Nobody retrieves Judith's body, Christa's stillborn was probably put down, etc. And even if those born after do turn, it might not affect an infant as they develop in the womb.
We could potentially see this in the new series they're planning for 2020, seeing as it's based on the first generation of children. Who knows though.
