Neither do you. Look at the list, only main cast and supporting characters are listed. Barbara didn't even talked to Rick??

What? Lol, it doesn’t matter if Barbara is still on the show until the end. She’s a minor character, get over it

    • Barbara may have never spoke to Rick, but she literally took care of his child during the war, as well as help fight the herd in 6x09.

If more people agree then I guess it's ok. I think Dianne should be added too tbh.

      I agree. Thanks for understanding.

    • I dunno guys, I didn’t even know who Barbara was until this season. Everyone who is on there had significant scenes and impact on the group, regardless of how much they’re contributing now. Gracie made Rick realize that the Saviors still have families to take care of, and Dog is Daryl’s companion who, really, isn’t so minor. He has been pretty fairly portrayed so far.

Scott...maybe I could see, but yet again, i didn’t know he has been around since season 5 either, so...

Maybe let’s wait to see what an admin says?

Sometimes the admins don't really care. Sometimes they just say they can't keep track for certain things.

    • Let’s ask? A wiki is an encyclopedia. It is meant to have the most accurate information the community can provide without adding in personal opinion or technicalities, including who officially belongs and does not belong to Rick’s CORE group.

And that statement doesn’t match up with your opening statement to SpaceBeyonder in that you’re not an admin. You can’t say what they do and do not care about. And not keeping track =/= them wanting it there.

    • Ahem.

I heard there was conflict and I guess an admin is needed?

I agree with you. It should only be Core members only.

    • There’s a bit of a debate going on as to whether or not Barbara and Scott belong on the list of Ricks’ group.

Personally I’d say Scott has earned his place, but even though Barbara took care of Judith during season 8 she isn’t really “there”. She’s mostly in the background, and doesn’t have many important scenes or lines.

My memory is fuzzy on past seasons, but I think Scott has had some moments in the spotlight? More than Barbara anyway.

MisterTrouble says why not, though I disagree, SpaceBeyonder and I feel it should be core members only, so maybe we should just let guys decide.

Scott is a maybe, Barbara is a no for me. “Rick’s Group” is made up of core survivors affiliated with Rick for long periods of time, siding with him, actively working together with him, and being proactive survivors in their own right. Barbara hasn’t really earned that. Scott kind of has?

An example of a recurring character who HAS earned this is Noah. He played a decent role through Season 5 and was part of the infamous lineup to arrive at Alexandria. He got decent screentime and went on supply runs, and was a character of focus with Glenn for a few episodes.

Scott is bordering this, kind of. He hasn’t had a lot of time to shine but did have a ton of screentime in 603 all those years ago. Barbara really hasn’t done anything of the sort.

      So that’s my take.

        Loading editor
    • So what should we do? MisterTrouble says yes, but you say no lol. I do agree, Scott is on the border in that he is just shy of earning his place, but I feel he is mostly just a named Alexandrian. He got some screen time tonight but we’ll see if it lasts.

        Loading editor
    • ^ I’m in the middle. I can swing with Scott but Barbara needs an episode before I can go for her lol

        Loading editor
    • I’m indifferent but I agree with Keep pretty much. I think for simplicity sake we can remove Barbara but keep Scott. He’s been pretty involved. Did the Oceanside raid in 7x15, helped out in 7x16, active for all of S8, even helped clear the swamp, etc. He’s borderline for me but I’d be fine with adding him to the group. After that, there’s no need to update Rick’s group as it no longer exists.

    • If we go on that note, should we make a new page called “Michonne’s Group”? Of course if she’s leaving next season it’ll probably end up being called Daryl’s Group, or Main Survivors, but yeah.

Rick may be gone but his presence is still in the show. Rick's group should never be inactive.

        Loading editor
    • ^I have to disagree, Rick is gone. This is no longer his story. Yes his legacy will live on but it’s not “his” group anymore. Instead we have a whole coalition of communities. The 9x15 promo even shows the community charter. If anything, a page could be created for this new group, sort of like “the militia”.

        Loading editor
    • Maybe call it “The Coalition” then? I know that sounds super 100-ish but... makes sense. New term, new era. Obviously the militia still exists. Hell, we’re on the brink of the next war. But this also makes sense. Especially considering the charter is finally being signed.

        Loading editor
    • Agreed, a group can’t be centered around someone who isn’t there anymore. I didn’t get a good look at the charter, but come next episode we can see who signs it and Make the page then?

        Loading editor
    • ^ Definitely.

        Loading editor
    • They showed the charter a couple episodes back and there were spots for all five communities: Alexandria, Hilltop, Kingdom, Oceanside, and Sanctuary. The latter no longer exists but the 4 communities will all be in attendance at the fair and I assume we will see all the leaders sign it (that theater scene in the 9x15 promo).

It should only be core characters, exactly like Rick's Group.

        Loading editor
    • The Coalition leaders will be the, well, leaders of the communities, and the notable/core members will probably be the most important people from each community. Outside of the main cast, characters like Jerry, Dianne, Laura and stuff belong there cause they serve on councils or as right hands to the leaders.
