• So it's apparent that a user on here likes to stir some trouble when it comes to the usage and non-usage of hyphens regarding hispanic characters. I personally don't have a problem with the hyphen being used, as that's how it's been. But why isn't the user going after it's usage with "African-American" or "Asian-American" or whatever others? Enough of questioning that, we got an edit war that's almost about to stir up and it's happened before. I want to see the community as a whole try to work together to figure this conflict out. I'm no admin, but I'm a janitor and I'd like to try my best to help resolve long-term issues like this one to have a concrete and permanent solution such as maybe adding it into a list of rules or something like that. I've had enough of the issues with that user and I wanted to at least post this.

Post your opinion of whether there should be hyphens or not.

    • If you have a question about why "the user" is or isn't doing something...

Common sense would dictate you ask "the user."

I am not African American or Asian American or "whatever others" so I don't care.

I correct (and have provided proof *for the UMPTEENTH time*) as to when a hyphen is or isn't needed on the Hispanic American pages.

      This discussion has been had.

It's not my fault you were late to join the party.

I'm ever so very ecstatically happy to have now brought you up to speed.

    • I've never seen someone throw a bigger tempertatrum over something so trivial on this fandom.

Putting my English major hat on: when using MLA style writing hypens are not needed for describing a noun.

Either way it really doesn't matter. As long as we try and keep some level of consitency.

Cebr has already been blocked completely. So don't worry about it. But I do agree... pointless tantrum.

    • I personally think we should remove everything but the hyphens.

      You read that right.
