• Okay, I played Season 4, and I find myself discovering multiple mistakes. I will explain all mistakes in this thread.

    (1) So remember when Minerva threw a grenade at Clem and AJ, I love how neither of them was injured from the blast. Explosions up close causes, Head truama, skull fracture and other trumas/fractures, however they got up and continue on like the explosion never happened.

    (2) Minerva was in the herd, firing a gun, Not a single bullet hit a walker, and they didn't devour her, until later.

    (3) Not to mention, gunshot wounds heal up to 13 days (depending how much are there), and somewhat, AJ seems to recover in a day or two.

    (4) Clementine is becoming increasingly unrealistic and boring, and became the same protagonist in two seasons was partly a mistake,I believe they are forcing Clem on us.

    (5) I love how they use Clem being bitten the same as Lee's death, which I believe is really incredibly stupid

    • (1) and (3) are just conveniences for the sake of pacing, which the other seasons are guilty of as well. I agree with (2), that shit was ridiculous and a massive plot hole. (4) isn't really a mistake, just an opinion. I'm not really sure what point you're trying to make with (5), but it's also just an opinion.

The point I'm trying to make is how (5) is that they were lazy to make it the same ending of Clem being bitten to Lee's ultimate death

I'm pretty sure that was on purpose. Season 4 is a parallel to Season 1, with Clem taking care of AJ the same way Lee took care of her. Imo, her fate should have been determinant, and depend on what you taught AJ. But they ran out of money, so we got what we got. :p

Minnie was protected because she was near the point of death and was also covered in some walker blood from attacking a bunch of them before. The same case happened with Lee before he made it to the marsh house, if he wasn’t already nearly dead and plowing through zombies he wouldnt have been able to do the iconic Gauntlet scene because they would’ve all detected him. Once Clementine shot Minnie, the walkers smelled her own blood then attacked her.

The gun shooting might be a bit over the top, but it makes sense that the walkers didn’t spot her.

As far as I'm aware, being near death doesn't protect you from walkers in any walking dead media. The guts would make sense, if not for Minnie firing a gun in the middle of a herd. As soon as she did that, she should have been devoured. If Sam gets devoured just for sobbing while covered with guts, then firing a gun in the middle of a herd should definitely get you eaten. To make matters worse, the walkers later do attack her, despite her guts trick.

Like DalesRV said, Near Death doesn't protect you, Gut tricks and somewhat disguise does

    • Pretty sure AJ wasn’t actually shot. If you slow that scene down it’s just the fragments from the shrapnel that hit him. I’m in no ways a doctor or a scientist but this could explain why AJ recovered so quickly.

Abel had a shotgun, and the "shrapnel" looks a lot like shotgun pellets, so I'm pretty sure he got shot.

      Aj was just grazed.

      (2) yah that's a good point. maybe she smelled enough like death

      (4) disagreed

      (5) disagree somewhat. I mean the fandom has joked about it for 7 years so  we knew it was going to happen. It wasn't shocking.
