• So I was wondering. Why did Rick, Carl, and Michonnes not help the orange backpack guy.

Did they Actually Not Hear or See Him?

Or Did they Hear, and See him, but Chose to Ignroe Him?

    • Oh they absolutely saw and heard him. Even at the end of the episode Rick noticed he was devoured by walkers and took what supplies he had left.

If you recall they are in the middle of war/battle/conflict (what ever word you want to use) with The Governor and they each know where each other are. So Rick and company aren't really up for trusting strangers right now. How do we know in the moment he wasn't a spy?

And also Rick is still hallucinating. So he isn't keen on what is real or not. So there's also a possibility he wasn't sure at first if the hitchhiker was real.

Personally it was one of the very few times I wasn't happy happy with Rick's choices. That Hitchhiker could have been a valuable member of the group
