Few is known about Troy's life except that he was from San Diego and attended the UCSD together with James, Derek, and Brandon. During the school vacation before the apocalypse, they had traveled down to the Sea of Cortez in Baja California to party.

Post-Apocalypse

"Do Not Disturb"

Troy is mentioned by his friends as they explain to Travis and Chris that they were partying on the Sea of Cortez when a zombie, mistaken for a drunk person, bit Troy.

In a conversation between James and Travis, Troy is mentioned again and how he knew he should be put down, but he eventually lost his nerve and begged for his life before he was put down by James.
