Tyreese is a survivor of the outbreak in Rick Grimes 2000. He was originally killed by The Governor before being brought back to life by aliens. He is a member of the Freedom Fighters.
Pre- and Post-Apocalypse

Sometime after being killed, Tyreese is brought back to life by aliens to be a super-soldier for their army. He, however, decides not to and revolts.
"Issue 75 - Bonus Ending"
Tyreese first appears saving Rick Grimes, alongside Axel and Caesar Martínez. He explains that the aliens have been gathering up those who have died and turning them into super-soldiers for their army, but he and the other two revolted. He then leaves to go fight the oncoming zombies. He is not seen again after this, leaving his fate unknown.

- Tyreese wearing a neck brace is a reference to his death by being decapitated.
- Tyreese's costume is a reference to Marvel superhero, Luke Cage.
- In the original Issue 75 bonus ending, Tyreese's shirt was colored orange, but in Rick Grimes 2000 it is depicted as dark green.
