Introductions.[]

Hey, its been a long time. I know, it's been a long time since the last time on the article editings, and on the chat room. i apologize, as a staff. Anyways, in this blog of mine, I'm gonna lure you guys into a conversation that discusses "Season 3? Multiple playable characters?" to be honest, i am so freakin' stocked by just imagining it.

The Topics.[]

Season 2[]

For those who havent played Season 2 of the Video Game. please... leave. I do not want to be called a giant turd no more :( just kidding. but seriously tho, for your own sake, leave.

Dont tell me I did not warn ya.

FULL SPOILERS OF BOTH SEASON 1 AND 2 OF THE WALKING DEAD VIDEO GAME, AND PERHAPS FROM THE TV SERIES AS WELL.

400 Days.[]

For those who have played season 2, especialy the third episode of season 2, commonly known as "In Harm's Way" must surely have played 400 Days, let me tel you about it.

You play as 5 different characters, divided to 5 different stories, which are linked to each other, and each choice you made in those stories, would be reasoned in the end.

pretty good, right? well, yeah, it sounded good, but i have to say i was kinda dissapinted by how was fast it ended, and how it did nto resonate enough in season 2. haters, you know what i'm saying.

anyways, five different characters, slightly different gameplay, linked storyline. aka. 400 days.

Telltales Upcoming Projects.[]

for those who are fans of Telltale's future, and recent productes wil surely know Game of Thrones, and Tale from Border Lands will arrive shortly with Telltale's trademark on it, and from what ive heard, Bordeland wil feature 2 different characters, whose choices would be in our will, and will resonate by the end.

also, the same as Game of Thrones.

it has been said by Steven Allison, one of the staffs working for Telltale. that, in Game of thrones, the player will play five different characters, all ini the same family, and the choices the player made for each character will resonate by the end, forming the consequences, just like the Walking Dead, especially in 400 days.

Why brought this up? this isnt about the Walking Dead! you might say, but please patience.. everything would be making sense.

and below is a snipet from the article, i know they ddi no mention anything about the Walking Dead at all, but you know, still...

How far will future games branch out from the Telltale template already set, or do you believe that template is strong enough to sustain multiple game series as it is?

We always will evolve our story telling toolkit from game to game based on the needs of each franchise and the creative decisions we've made. For example, Tales from the Borderlands adds multi-protagonist storytelling for us layered into the tailored narrative design established with The Walking Dead and it works amazingly well with two playable characters.

In Game of Thrones we're taking that multi-protagonist design even further with five playable characters from the same family whose choices affect everyone in the family, and that adds a whole new layer to things that we're really excited about.

We feel like the core tailored narrative template is very strong and supports multiple IP executions while also being extremely flexible in [taking on board] new narrative designs that I've mentioned here. It will continue to evolve from game series to game series.

Telltale's new servings. []

Telltale's New Servings wait, wat?

that's right, as weird as it sounded like, but it's right.

Telltale seemingly has been developing a new techniques on their story telling, as evident by Game of Thrones, and Borderlands are going to feature more than ONE playable characters in game.

and it makes me think, the chances of playing Kenny, Edith, and Randy, and STILL Clementine, or even Gill are big enough to be realized.

and do you guys remember the developers saying that that season 3 will feature a different angle from the story? ... somehow it streghtens this topic.

WHY ARE YOU SO SURE ABOUT ALL OF THIS?[]

First reason.

To be honest, if they keep repeating the same gameplay, playing as Clementine, keeping Kenny sane, or protecting baby AJ, and then Clementine dies, and season 4 would be all about the new black kid version of Clementine. would be boring as fuck.

think about it.

would you be bored?

the answer must be yes.

even in the comic, it is not about Rick anymore, the story covers almost everyone's story, and somehow Rick steps back a little, and let Maggie takes the whole story... and did i mention Michonne? forgot she is still in the comics.

second reason.

NO ONE IS SAFE.

I dont know how this works in the tv series, but in the comic, and in the video game... this shit is real.

and if we're talking about the death of Clementine, would it be wiser, to not repeating the whole Lee-scenario, to lead her to her demise?

CHANCES OF THIS BE THE REAL NEW GAMEPLAY OF SEASON 3[]

I do not work for Telltale, nor the biggest fan of the walking, notr a fortune teller. but this iswhat i hope, and my ballls tingling telling me this could be the one that's gonna happen in season 3. so, fingercrossed, would be amazing to play as different characters, differetn set pieces, and much longer episodes.

Will it work tho?

wil it work? yes it will, with Game of Thrones features this kind of gameplay, as well as the upcoming Borderlands. yes it will.
