Hello, staff.

Now, I know you guys are kind of ignoring this community. No need to pretend like you aren't because, for years now, every time you tried to announce a new thing here you've been met with nothing but memes and/or criticism (most of the time warranted, but I digress), and it's completely understandable that you might be thinking this community just isn't worth the effort. But can I please ask you what is this?

Thing we specifically asked not to happen

This big, obnoxious, totally non-fitting video (from WatchMojo, one of the most frowned upon channels in YouTube, nonetheless) that sits on top of Negan's page? This really invasive video that follows you around while you scroll through the page, even if you try to close it? Yeah, I've had these kind of videos open a second time after I already closed them once. It's not an isolated accident, it has happened at least five times now.

Do you guys want to know why I closed the videos? Because I'm not interested in them. It's autoplay, so I assume it automatically gives the channel who posted it views, it's absolutely huge, totally screwing up the A E S T H E T I C S of the page, incredibly invasive and annoying, because it follows you around like a malware infused pop up straight from the early 2000s internet, and worst of all...

We specifically asked for it not to be added to our community. I've heard it in passing that when FANDOM was first experimenting with these, they asked our admins if we wanted them added to our community. They said no. So what is this doing here, may I ask? Did you guys seriously just completely ignore the wishes of our admins and did things your way anyway?

Please note that I'm not a troll, and I'm not making a huge fuss about this for no reason. I'm a staff member of the wiki, and everyone that I've talked about, mostly other staff members, agree with me. I'm sure some people don't mind it, maybe even some of the admins, but I haven't had the chance to meet those people yet. Honestly, I wouldn't think it was a big deal either, if we didn't specifically ask for this not to be included in our community, only for it to happen anyway. Feels like we don't have much of a choice after all, doesn't it?

Sincerely,

Tommy, janitor of The Walking Dead Wiki.
