Fear The Walking Dead has now become my favorite thing in relation to the The Walking Dead. The seventh season kinda plateaued for me. There was not enough character development given to the main cast of the show as Negan pretty much became the main focus of the season but Negan is always going to be Negan basically a bat wielding psychopath who one minute can kill a man for attempting to rape a woman and in the next moment have one of his flunkies kill a women. Fear The Walking Dead has a much better balance between action and character development that wasn't really seen in season seven of the main series that said I feel there are the possibilities of having additional series created that could offer a much broader look at how the Walker epidemic spreads and overwhelms humanity.

Something I would love to see is a Walking Dead show blended with The West Wing. It would be cool to see what happens at a political level in the United States government in how the President and his cabinet plus the military leadership respond to the Walker outbreak. This would allow the audience who watch the other two series to get a better sense of why civilization fell so quickly and why humanity wasn't able to combat the rising zombie threat. We have seen movies such as World War Z and I Am Legend show how on a global scale governments are unable to function amidst a crisis. I have always wondered what the military or remnants of the government are doing in regards to allowing civilization to degrade to such a point in the show. Where is the goverment? Are they secretly watching Rick's group while assessing the best course of action to reclaim the Earth from the undead? Is there even a government to allow that to happen? Who knows that's why I would love to see a Walking Dead spinoff series address this.

Another thing I would love to see is a Walking Dead show that doesn't take place exclusively in the United States. If the Walker outbreak is global as has been hinted several times in both Fear The Walking Dead and The Walking Dead. It would be cool to see a Walking Dead show set in perhaps Europe or Asia that shows how other people of different nations have responded to the Walkers. We have seen in the spinoff comic called The Walking Dead: The Alien how the zombie outbreak has effected the country of Spain. It's perhaps the only time we have seen the outbreak affecting a non-North American country. If the zombie outbreak is truly global than different countries might have faired better than the United States. Maybe countries with ruthless reputations in times of war such as Russia have developed a more effective method in combating the undead. Maybe not? Still would be cool to see!
