  • Background: Rick took the Ford Crown Victoria police car from the King County Sheriff's Department to head towards Atlanta. It soon ran out of gas and was abandoned on the highway.[1]

  • Background: The vehicle was seen after Rick stumbled upon the Siggard family farm outside of Atlanta. It was never an active vehicle in the series and was seemingly abandoned by its owners (likely the Siggard family). The keys for the vehicle were lost and thus the car was abandoned.[1]

1973' 'D-27C Winnebago Chieftain (See Dale's RV)[]

  • Background: The RV was owned by Dale and used by the Atlanta survivors regularly during the first two seasons. It was often used as a command post and was the nucleus of the group. It was used to travel to the Center for Disease Control in "Wildfire" and was also used to travel to Hershel's farm where it served as a central point of activity for the group. It was destroyed in the Season 2 Finale by the fire Rick and Carl started as a diversion to lure away the walkers from the main farmhouse as it became quickly overrun. Jimmy and several walkers were burned in this fire, along with the RV.

  • Background: This Ford E-350 truck they are belonged to the Ferenc Builders and were used as work purposes only of Crew members to transports building equipment's with material to the different location of housing building during the apocalypse, but the truck has been abandoned by the Crew members inside the fence and the car key were left locked up inside the key box during the zombies apocalypse begin. The car key were found by Glenn inside the key box after the Crew members were left it behind. and was beginning borrowed by Rick to rescue the survivors from the department store. It appeared to be considered Rick's vehicle afterwards as Dale Horvath negotiated with Rick to strip "that cube van of yours" to fix his RV in "Tell It to the Frogs." Rick then used it with several survivors to return to Atlanta in search of Merle Dixon and the Sheriff's Bag of Guns. In "Vatos", it disappeared and was believed to have been stolen by Merle, and were no longer owned by Rick. It was most likely abandoned afterwards.

  • Background: The Dodge was stolen by Glenn Rhee after Rick smashed the driver's window to gain access. Glenn used this vehicle to get the hell out of dodge and, using the loud alarm, to distract the walkers surrounding the department store so that Rick could rescue the survivors within (see "Guts"). In "Tell It to the Frogs" The morning after they returned to the camp, the car was stripped for parts and abandoned. By "Wildfire" When the survivors left, they left the car behind with a note attached to the door for Morgan Jones should he arrive at the camp looking for Rick.

It was first used on-screen to transport the corpses to the graves dug by Jim after the attack on the camp in "Vatos". It was then used to travel to the CDC[2] but was abandoned afterwards, most likely to save and conserve gas.

  • Background: This is the Jeep owned and purchased by Shane as his personal vehicles, as well as his car insurance were also registered to him. Shane used his Jeep to carry water canisters and to travel to the CDC.[2] It was later abandoned afterwards, most likely to save and conserve gas.

  • Background: At the onset of the outbreak, T-Dog used it to drive to every elderly person's house to see if they needed a ride.[7] He later rescued Glenn Rhee and possibly other survivors before heading for Atlanta. It was later used by the survivors to get to the CDC,[2] but was abandoned soon afterwards, most likely to save and conserve gas.

  • Background: This vehicle was used by Morales to take his family to Birmingham, Alabama, to search for the rest of their family near the end of the first season.[2] It, like the Morales family, apart from Morales, is never seen again afterwards, and most likely abandoned as arrived at D.C.

  • Background: After the Governor offered the prison group the deal to hand over Michonne, Merle kidnapped her to fulfill the deal. On the way to the feed store he stole this vehicle and used it to go to a local bar as well as travel to the location. He also used the car's stereo to attract walkers and lead them there. Once he arrived, he abandoned it to ambush the Woodbury soldiers. Last seen as Daryl arrived to searching missing Merle.

  • Background: Merle was the leader of a biker gang in northern Georgia called the Savage Sons Motorcycle Club. When he and his brother Daryl made their way to Atlanta, he drove this. While being Merle's bike, Daryl was the only Dixon to ride this bike on-screen. It was transported to the CDC using the bed of Daryl's truck, but after abandoning his truck at the beginning of the second season, Daryl used the bike as his main mode of transportation. It was used by Daryl to defend Hershel's farm and to rescue Carol. In the third season, it was used by Daryl and Maggie to get supplies for newborn Judith Grimes and later to track down the Governor after the failed prison attack. It was abandoned at the prison after the second attack.

  • Background: Obtained by the group during the winter. This vehicle was used in various attempts to secure the prison (Glenn drove it around to the break-in point where Tyreese and his group entered the prison; Glenn, Daryl, Michonne, and Beth used it while setting traps inside the courtyard of the prison after it was overrun by walkers). It was later used in an attempt to track down the Governor after the failed prison attack. When the Governor's army attacks the prison in Season 4, the truck is used as cover and subsequently shot up. One of its tires is blown out. It was Shot up/Abandoned at the prison after the second attack, and once seen when Rick and Carl attempted exiting the prison. Last seen after Glenn threw a Molotov cocktail to the prison vehicle Ford Crown Victoria, then escaped the ruins of the prison with the help of Tara Chambler. The Pick-up is still left abandoned at the prison afterward.

  • Background: A first vehicle similar to the one given to Andrea Harrison that belonged to the West Georgia Correctional Facility. Seen parked in the courtyard before and after the prison assault. When the Governor's militia attacked the prison, this car was used as cover by Bob Stookey, Sasha Williams, and Maggie Greene. It was subsequently shot up and abandoned at the prison after the attack. Later, after the battle, Glenn threw a Molotov on this car to burn it down as a means of distracting the herd of zombies that had swarmed the abandoned prison, so that he and Tara Chambler could escape the ruins of the prison.

After freeing it and finding a new battery at the abandoned gas station as well as adding coolant and oil, they drove it to the college to gather medical supplies, then drove back to the prison. It was abandoned at the prison after the second attack.
S4 Carol's Taurus

  • Background: First seen at the unnamed motel in "This Sorrowful Life".
  • Sam and Ana presumably found it there and took it. Rick Grimes and Carol discovered the car parked outside a house in an abandoned neighborhood. They searched it and figured out that it had only been there a couple of days. Later, when they were done searching the neighborhood for supplies and were about to leave, Rick informed Carol that she could not come back with him to the prison, and packed her stuff into the car and watched her drive away. (see "Indifference")
  • In "Consumed" flashback. The next day, Carol abandoned it at the prison after returning there and finding nothing but ruins.

1987-1991 Jeep Wrangler YJ (Jump to main article) []

  • Color: Gray
  • Status: Abandoned
  • Background: After abandoned the Jeep on the road as The Governor slaughters his men before "Welcome to the Tombs".
  • The Jeep appears again by the beginning of Season 4 "Infected" as the prison group took the Jeep back to the prison at West Georgia Correctional Facility as this Jeep was owned by prison survivors. It was later used to draw walkers away from the fence using the pigs. After a large group of walkers broke into the prison, Rick used its headlights to illuminate the incoming herd and make them easier to spot and kill.
  • The next day, Michonne and Hershel Greene took the Wrangler to move the dead bodies out of the prison. by 3 Episodes in Season 4 ("Internment", "Dead Weight" and "Too Far Gone").
  • It was abandoned in the woods after the Governor kidnapped them.

  • Background: Boarded up and used as part of the wall in Woodbury before the prison assault. After Rick Grimes's group rounded up all of the remaining Woodbury citizens, they transported them back to their base of the West Georgia Correctional Facility in this bus. The survivors then made the bus ready in case they ever had to escape the prison, and during the Governor's attack on the prison, the bus came in handy as they transported the prison survivors out of the war-zone created by the Governor. They waited as long as they could for the other survivors, but eventually, they had to go, leaving some behind.
  • The bus was not seen until "Inmates". When 3 of them Maggie, Bob, Sasha was seen this bus didn't make it far before someone inside died and reanimated, resulting in all occupants being killed. The bus was overrun and abandoned on the road. The reanimated passengers were put down by Maggie Greene, Bob Stookey, and Sasha Williams.

1998 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab[]

  • Owned by: Standard Woodbury Survivors
  • Used by: Woodbury Survivors, Philip Blake, Caesar Martinez or Shumpert.
  • Color: White
  • Status: Abandoned (possibly)
  • Background: One of the Woodbury Survivors' standard vehicles, the Ram is first seen when the Governor and his men investigate the helicopter crash. It is equipped with roof lights and a brush guard fitted with lights and a winch. The truck is seen in Woodbury many times, but does not receive much use as any of the other vehicles. It is later used by the Governor to track down Andrea when she escapes the town in "Prey". Judging by its loud engine, it was fitted with a 5.9 liter Magnum V8 engine. The Governor used this vehicle in the prison assault, and later fled in it with Shumpert and Martinez to an unknown location after the attack failed. The morning after, Martinez and Shumpert abandon the Governor and drive this away. It was not seen at Martinez's camp when the Governor arrives, meaning that it was possibly abandoned.

TWD Woodbury Excursion

  • Background: The Governor and his team used it to transport Andrea Harrison and Michonne Hawthorne from the helicopter wreckage to Woodbury. It was also used to move to and from the The Guardsmen's camp to Woodbury. The vehicle is equipped with a battering ram fitted to the grille, radio and searchlights. It is the most frequently used vehicle in Woodbury, being used as the main source of transportation for the Governor and Martinez. It is outfitted with a bull bar and a winch. Left abandoned on the side of a road after the Governor kills his soldiers.

AM General HMMWV (High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle) "Humvee"[]

  • Color: US Woodland Camo
  • Status: Shot up, Abandoned
  • Background: A group of National Guard soldiers escaped their base being overrun, taking with them a flat-bed Humvee, two M35 transport trucks, an M911 Heavy Equipment Transporter System, a flat-bed helicopter transporter trailer and a UH-1 Huey helicopter. They soon set up a small outpost and used the Huey to scout nearby areas. However, the helicopter crashed due to engine failure and its surviving pilot was found by The Governor and several Woodbury survivors. After learning the camp's location, the Governor drove there waving a white flag and told the soldiers they had found the pilot. However this was all a ruse as the Woodbury survivors ambushed the soldiers and killed them all. Their equipment and vehicles (save for the M1070 and helicopter transporter trailer) were then taken back to Woodbury. The Humvee is then seen parked in Woodbury near the entrance to the settlement alongside the M35s they had taken. The vehicle had sustained some bullet damage, as Michonne notices when inspecting the vehicles following their return from the camp. The vehicle is fitted with an M2HB .50 caliber machine gun. The vehicle is used during the assault on the prison, its machine gun tearing through walkers and damaging the prison. However, its tires were flattened and its machine gun jams when the Woodbury Army retreats and the vehicle is abandoned in the prison yard.
TWD M35A2

1950-1988 AM General M35A2[]

  • Color: US Woodland Camo
  • Status: Abandoned
  • Background: A group of National Guardsmen escaped their base being overrun with several vehicles, including this M35. The soldiers soon set up a small outpost and used the Huey to scout nearby areas. However, the helicopter crashed due to engine failure and its surviving pilot was found by the Governor and several Woodbury survivors. After learning the camp's location, the Governor drove there waving a white flag and told the soldiers they had found the pilot. However this was all a ruse as the Woodbury survivors ambushed the soldiers and killed them all. Their equipment and vehicles were then taken back to Woodbury. Both M35s are seen parked near the entrance to Woodbury alongside the Humvee, and the M35A2 is used to pick up walkers from the pits. The M35 is the same vehicle used by Woodbury in the comics to mount their assault on the prison. The M35A2 is not used in the assault on the prison and is abandoned at Woodbury when the town is vacated by its remaining residents.

  • Background: A group of National Guardsmen escaped their base being overrun, taking with them a Humvee, an M911 Heavy Equipment Transporter System, helicopter trailer and two M35 trucks: an M35A2 transport truck and a newer M35A3 truck. The soldiers soon set up a small outpost and used the Huey to scout nearby areas. However, the helicopter crashed due to engine failure and its surviving pilot was found by the Governor and several Woodbury survivors. After learning the camp's location, the Governor drove there waving a white flag and told the soldiers they had found the pilot. However this was all a ruse as the Woodbury survivors ambushed the soldiers and killed them all. Their equipment and vehicles were then taken back to Woodbury. Both M35s are seen parked near the entrance to Woodbury alongside the Humvee,The M35A3 is taken by the Woodbury Army and used as a troop carrier during the assault on the prison. When they are forced to retreat, the truck stops on a road on the outskirts of the prison. When the Governor slaughters most of the army, the truck is left abandoned on the road.

They didn't feel safe in Woodbury anymore, so they packed up their belongings in the car and headed to the front gates in attempts to leave, but were stopped by the Woodbury Guards, guarding the gates. Wasn't used in the assault on the prison. So was likely abandoned in Woodbury after its remaining inhabitants were moved to the prison by the Survivors.

  • Background: After the attack by Rick's group the night before, the Woodbury Survivors didn't feel safe there anymore. So they packed up their belongings in the car and headed to the front gates in attempts to leave. When the Woodbury Guards, guarding the gate, wouldn't let them through, the driver became angry and started to honk his horn, attracting walkers. Martinez points his gun at the driver, demanding him to stop and get out of the car. When he continued to honk his horn, Martinez opened the door, dragged the driver out, and threw him on the ground. The Explorer was likely Abandoned at Woodbury after its remaining inhabitants were moved to the prison by the Survivors.

So was likely abandoned in Woodbury after its remaining inhabitants were moved to the prison by the Survivors.

Grumman Olson Bread Truck[]

After the Governor and Lilly's family decided to leave the apartment, they drove this truck for a day until its engine failed. They then abandoned it in hopes of finding another working vehicle.

  • Background: This Patton was operated by Mitch during his time with the Army. After the outbreak, he used it to survive until he met up with Martinez. He now keeps it parked at the camp. The Governor uses it in his attack on the Prison, first as a show of force to get Rick and his group to leave. When they refuse, the tank smashes through the fences and destroys several parts of the prison with its main gun. The Governor's militia uses the tank as mobile cover. The tank eventually stops in the courtyard, where Daryl rolls a grenade into the main gun's barrel, destroying it.

It wasn't used in the second prison assault, and so it may not still be able to be in use by the people who stayed at the camp. It was possibly abandoned, and was seemingly deemed unusable afterwards.

  • Background: A small group of the survivors traveled out to where Aaron said an RV and a car used by him and Eric was parked and ready to transport the group to Alexandria to make sure that Aaron was in fact telling the truth. Abraham and his small group discovered the motor-home and used it to transport all of the survivors to Alexandria, Virginia. After the battery died in the middle of the road, Glenn redirected Abraham to a spare battery elsewhere in the motor-home. Later the vehicle was working again and was put to use. The group exited it later after all group arrived outside at the Alexandria Safe Zone by the main entrance gate, it was left outside (See "Remember".) The RV has been owned to Alexandria Safe Zone since's in Season 5.
  • Rick reaches the RV from Alexandria in "Thank You ".
  • Later Rick stops at the edge of the woods, where Glenn directed him to intercept the herd. He tries to reach Glenn and Tobin by walkie but receives no response. He then radios Daryl to inform him the breakaway herd will soon be back on track.
  • The RV is next seen when multiple Wolves members reach the RV after leaving Alexandria after the attack. Two members attack within the RV, but are killed by Rick. Rick then spots three other members outside via the mirror and guns them down. Rick abandoned the RV after the engine has been failed.
  • The RV was not seen until "Knots Untie", where Daryl is looking at the RV to make sure there's nothing wrong with it. The RV was used to transport the group, and Jesus, to the Hilltop Colony. as belonging to the Hilltop and desperately begins searching the wreckage for his people. The RV gets stuck in the mud near Hilltop, but gets saved when the survivors plan to leave the Colony.
  • Rick drives the RV from Safe-Zone in "Not Tomorrow Yet", with other survivors from Alexandria following the RV. The RV stops on the road, and Rick sounds the horn to attract any nearby walkers, then orders everyone to separate on foot and reconvene in a couple of hours.
  • Rick and his group (Carl, Abraham, Sasha, Eugene, Aaron) used The RV in the season 6 finale to trasnport Maggie to Hilltop Colony.
  • At the part of the road Abraham saw Simon and some other Saviors blocking the road with their cars. Rick tried to make deal with them, but soon turned around and left.
  • Later The RV stopped again as the road was blocked by a chain with walkers, the Survivors started to shoot them down, with Rick using his hatchet, then drove away.

Rick climbed on the top of the RV, but then jumped off as Negan fired through the roof. Negan used the RV to come back to The Saviors team as they made a deal with Rick. Appears again by "Something They Need", Michonne drives the RV with the Survivors to Oceanside. The RV is seen parked at Safe-Zone during Negan's attack, but is not used.

  • Background: Aaron, in an effort to get Daryl to accept the job as Alexandria's new recruiter, showed Daryl the half-built bike and the abundance of parts in Aaron and Eric's garage. The bike was then built by Daryl and used by him when he and Aaron went on a recruitment mission towards the end of the 5th season in "Conquer". He used to escape and ride of around quarry filled with the herd of walkers. When unleashing the walkers, Rick - who'd been orchestrating a supposed dry run - yells for the group to put the plan into action. Daryl distracted the mobilized herd and led them towards the designated area - 20 miles away from the Alexandria Safe Zone - along with Sasha and Abraham (who were riding in the Buick).
  • The bike was stolen by Dwight and Honey, who double-crossed Daryl, in order to escape after they stole his crossbow and left him in the middle of nowhere (see "Always Accountable").
  • The bike was not seen until "Not Tomorrow Yet" when one of Negan's men, Primo, was seen trying to escape on a motorcycle. He was shot off this bike by Rosita and subsequently assaulted by Daryl, later shot by Rick.
  • Daryl rides his bike from Alexandria in "East", while searching for Dwight far from Safe-Zone. Was later abandoned at the forest with hidden under branches, bushes and shrubbery.
  • On "Service" Spencer found Daryl's bike hidden under branches, bushes and shrubbery, and pushed it to Chevy Van to take it back to Alexandria for Dwight, as arrived outside of the Safe-Zone, Spencer gives the bike to Dwight, soon rides off Safe-Zone and drives back to The Sanctuary.

  • Background: One of the Alexandria survivors standard vehicle. It is used to transport all remaining groups to warehouse. It was driven by Eugene to distract walkers with loud music. Nicholas was thrown out the driver side seat by Glenn to ensure that the loose cannon did not try and leave without them. Later, Glenn took over the van after Eugene saved him. They started to drove back to Alexandria and was upon arriving back (See "Spend"; "Try")
  • The Chevy Van is seen again by "First Time Again", while Safe-Zone survivors attempted to escape at the quarry mission most likely abandoned there.
  • The van was not seen until "Not Tomorrow Yet" when the Survivors followed the RV in it.
  • Glenn drives the Chevy Van from Alexandria by "East" with Michonne, Rosita to search for missing Daryl far from Safe-Zone. Glenn abandoned it in the middle of no-where near the train tracks.

Used again in "How It's Gotta Be" Rosita droves the Chevy Van during escaped at the Safe-Zone by following Daryl's Garbage truck. and was abandoned during a setting the roadblock to the other Saviors vehicles on the road, and were later begins to throw tear gas on the road then shoots to all Saviors members.

  • Aaron took Buick car to traveling to the Del Arno Foods company (alongside with Daryl's bike), Later he left it (along with Daryl's bike) in the forest while they scouted the area, it's still in use (see "Conquer").
  • The Buick is seen again in "First Time Again", when Sasha and Abraham used Buick car for the quarry mission. It was left abandoned afterward. and was last seen when the group started to put the plan into action and escaped around quarry filled with walkers.

  • Background: The C-series Fuel Truck was found by Daryl Dixon in the woods branded "A.A. Pattrick Fuel Co." Earlier in the episode, Dwight's group was searching for "Patty" which is presumably the fuel truck as that is what its license plate reads.
  • Daryl killed the walker in the cab first and starts hot-wired the emission (Off-Screen), and then begins to drove the fuel truck to pick up Abraham and Sasha and then heading down back on the road. Daryl tried to calling radio to Rick. "Help," a muffled voice on the radio replies (see "Always Accountable".)
  • The Fuel Truck was not seen until "No Way Out", when Saviors members vs. Bud setting a road block on the road with their motorcycles, and begins to tried to make a deal with Daryl, Abraham and Sasha. Later while the Fuel Truck were still stopping on the road, Daryl starts to destroyed small group of Saviors vs. Bud using an RPG.

Jesus saw the truck and jumped inside to see Carl hiding in the spot in the back of the truck. Jesus poured syrup on the ground behind the truck to leave a trail. Then he jumped out of the truck and waved goodbye to Carl as the truck arrived at the compound. Carl picked a rifle and emerged from the hiding spot as The Saviors started to unload the truck. Then Carl shot George to force the other Saviors to meet Negan. Carl shot Chris 2 times and then was knocked down by Dwight. The truck was left at the compound afterwards.

It broke down on a road leading to several infested farms, leaving the group stranded. They eventually got the truck running again and returned to the church. They took the remaining members of the group to traveled to Grady Memorial Hospital. Abraham abandoned it after arriving at Grady Memorial Hospital Parking-Lot.

Rick and Daryl then knock him out and tie him up on the road, leaving him behind on the side of the road. They then took back the truck from "Jesus", happy with themselves. Later on, Rick suddenly stops the truck and "Jesus" falls off the roof, revealing he had been on the roof the whole time. Rick begins to chase "Jesus" around an abandoned barn with the truck. They continue to fight for the truck, but eventually, the brakes are released and the truck falls into a nearby river. They leave it Sunk.
