Not much is known about Violet's grandmother's life before the outbreak began. After the death of her husband, she suffered from depression and eventually committed suicide right behind an 11-year-old Violet by shooting herself through the mouth while Violet just watched cartoons, not bothered by the events. These events resulted in her mother sending her to Ericson's Boarding School.
She is mentioned by Violet if Clementine saves her in "Suffer The Children".
