In the event of a full...uh, my producer is telling me we have to get off the air... WABE wishes you and your loved ones the strength to get through this crisis. God bless you all...God bless the United States of Amer---
―Steve to all listeners in WABE's final broadcast.

WABE is a radio station first mentioned in Telltale Games' The Walking Dead: Season One.

Pre-Apocalypse

Atlanta, Georgia

WABE was a radio station based in the city of Atlanta. The station employed Carley as a reporter. Steve was also a radio broadcaster for this station. Carley mentions that the WABE had covered Lee's murder trial.

Post-Apocalypse

Season One

"A New Day"

Carley first mentions WABE, expressing her annoyance over their funding cuts, and that she and her team were in Macon to cover the Cherry Blossom Festival. While at the festival, the news crew was attacked by walkers, and Carley's producer was eaten alive just a few feet away from her, before she was suddenly saved by Doug.

After Lee finds some batteries for Carley's radio, one of the station's presenters, Steve, is still broadcasting, informing listeners of the spread of the unknown infection and subsequent catastrophic death toll, urging them to stay indoors and distance themselves from any who may have been exposed. Suddenly, Steve states that his producer has said that he needed to get off the air. Screaming and gunfire erupts in the background; ensuing chaos from assumedly walkers breaking into the station. WABE abruptly shuts off, and Carley is visibly shaken after hearing this.

"Starved For Help"

If Carley was saved in the previous episode, when she and Lee are walking to the dairy, she tells him that she had covered hundreds of cases like his.

The station's current status is unknown, but it is likely inactive.
