Fanfictions are strictly prohibited here at Walking Dead Wiki. Fanfictions are any kind of non-official content made by fans, and should never be included here in this wiki, whether it be stories, poems, music, fan films, fan games, or any other kind of media. This wiki is strictly for official Walking Dead content made by Image Comics, Skybound Entertainment, AMC, Telltale Games, and any other officially supported creators.
Prohibited Fan Works
Any and all forms of fan works are strictly prohibited. These include all of the following but are not limited too:
- Fan Books
- Fan Novels
- Fan Novellas
- Fan Short Stories
- Fan Poems
- Fan Comics
- Fan One-Shots
- Fan Films
- Fan Shows
- Fan Trailers
- Fan Sketches
- Fan Videos
- Fan Games
- Fan Music

If any of the above listed material is found on wiki articles or wiki blogs, it shall be removed per our policy. Following with these medias, any fan made original characters (OCs), adapted fan characters (say you have Daryl Dixon in your fan work), and fan made locations are also prohibited. Please do not ever edit any pre-existing character pages or location pages to include fan works in them.
Consequences
If any kind of Fanfiction is found here within the wiki (in Articles or on Blogs), it shall be deleted by the administration team without question. The poster of said fanfiction will be warned on their message wall. If they post more fanfiction, it will again be deleted and the poster will be blocked for any given amount of time that feels necessary.
Despite fanfictions being prohibited here, that doesn't mean we as a community hate them, we purely just wish to maintain official content only. Many wiki editors often tend to write or read fanfictions themselves. Because of this, sharing fanfictions via links to different websites isn't prohibited on the Discussion Threads and Discord Server. Users can also share it on their "About Me" on their profile, just not the blogs due to blogs being searchable on the wiki.
If anyone truly wishes to make wiki articles about their fanfiction, it is highly recommend that they create their own wiki for it, or join a related fanfiction wiki such as Fanon Wiki or Undead Fan Stories Wiki.
