Hello, my name is 06abrahb and I am an Administrator on the Left 4 Dead wiki and since I like zombie related movies, shows and games, I decided to help out on this wiki as well. However, my expertise is much more towards the actual TV series of The Walking Dead, not so much the comics so I'll be mainly editing tv show related articles. I do have a lot of experience on the Left 4 Dead wiki so I can use some of that here on this wiki as well so I feel that I would do a great job as a administrator here. Hi, I am Hallowseve15, a lot of you know me as Hallow. I have been here for almost a year and I have added some decent information to the Characters pages. I have also posted many cropped images and re-sizes so they can fit in the Character Boxes and Character pages/articles. I'm a hardcore Walking Dead fan and I own Issues 1-72, plus I own Issue 97. I know a lot of information based around the franchise. I have also seen every episode on Television, know what has happened in the Comic, own the Novel and the first two episodes of the video game made by Telltale. During my stay I have become good friends with Liam (BanishU) and Luke (Lukesav). I am almost always on chat or editing pages. I have reverted vandalism and have fixed a few problems that have occurred throughout my stay here. Hopefully some of you will support me or give me an explanation why I shouldn't be one. Secondly, a lot of your edits specialize with pictures and images, not so much the content of pages (such as grammar issues or continuity or even coding). There is a lot more then just undoing vandalism and adding images, there has to be a great deal of understanding of how this wiki works as well as what an admin does. Finally, we already have quite a few admins managing this wiki already so I doubt we will be needing more. Hello, I'm Crosider and I'm requesting to be an admin because I feel i would be able to do more for the wiki with administrator status than without. I have been a faithfull editor, fought against vandalism and have personally put myself up hard in the fight against spoilers posted everywhere. As a chatmod I feel i have been doing a good job, keeping spoilers and trolls out of the chatbox. The reason this page is here is to make sure all applicants have enough support from users before they are considered for the role of administrator. Essentially, us admins should have no reason to consider a user to be an administrator if he doesn't have support from the people who use the wiki. On the flip side, an unqualified user may be able to easily get support from users. That is why the existing admins are the ones who get to make the decision, because they are the ones who were put in charge of making decisions for the wiki when they were promoted. Allrighty, most of you guys already know me. If you don't, let me introduce myself: My name is Jonas "Kaffe" C.H. I'm a danish guy who has been through more than an 18-year old dude should have. I've been on this wikia for over a year, and I was the guy coming up with great (really, everything I touch turns great) ideas; Interviews, Character Appearacnes, Browse portal, etc. If we're talking experience, I run two active Wikias along with the biggest Walking Dead Roleplay online and a website. So there's that. The reason I should become admin? Because I know that this Wikia is going downhill fast, and I do know that the current admins need help. So do a lot of you guys. So I'd like to offer my help to get this Wikia back up where it belongs. Take it or leave it. Also, I am getting a cat soon. Not really sure about the name, though. Any suggestions? That was all. Finally, no offense but mentioning that your getting a cat and need a name on the "Request for Adminship" page is not a good idea, it shows bad character and might not set a good example since your talking about something completely random or you wouldn't do the job seriously. Hello, my name is Christian, or as most of you know me, RazorWolfz. I have been on this wiki for almost a year now, with 1600+ edits. I mainly focus on the Video Game, but I am also up to date with the TV Series. I am working on the comics still, but as of right now I do not touch a lot on things according the Comics, other than typos and other minor stuff. I am Norwegian, but I think I handle the English language well. I am generally a nice guy, and keep my head cool in heated situations, if someone gets furious on here. Also, I am a perfectionist, so I keep things in order when I can, and I am online every single day, so I'm very active on here. The reason I think I should get accepted is because I see the Wikia is having a lot more vandalism than it should have. As you know, I've been in this Wiki for a short time yet I've edited dozens of articles, make blogs, created pages, and uploaded pictures. I admit the quality of my edits is not as close to perfection but everybody, who knows me in this Wiki, knows that I do my work by heart and not by the number of edits I've obtained in just a matter of three months. I have to be frank that most Admins are not active and I know you need a seventh wheel for making sure this Wiki is up to date and Secured. I may not be as virtuous or wise than some users here but I know what it takes to get the job done as I am active 24/7 even though I have work and school and that is something unique for a contributor. In contributing for this Wiki i have done a dozen of pages for the TV and Dozens for the video game, especially in Survival Instinct, and the number will continue to increase as my stay here progress. Hello fellow editors. Since the nominations have re-opened for administrator, I felt it was my time to go for it. I have grown to know many of you over the past year and I hope you all respect my decision to apply now. Many users have asked me to apply for this and I feel that I owe it to them and myself to go for administrator. I believe I am qualified enough for this position. I know this wiki well, I know the users and they know me and I feel that I have served the community well enough to receive this. Over the course of the past five months, I have made my stances on more administrators and bureaucrats known. I believe we need a new team, as the old one is slowly retiring (Many users have also complained about this, I intend to try my damnedest to help them and get something done). I think I have some great ideas to implement and try out....that I guarantee users will enjoy. Salutations Comrades, I have been having second thoughts on running for this position as Admin, and just today as Gravelord being promoted to the position with some consultations with my friends, I have decided to run as well. Being an Administrator is a tough job especially when it comes to decisions that would shape the very molds of our growing collaborative community and I know that I am competent enough for the job in making it prosper. I also have experience on the Admin Dashboard that allows Admins to enable/disable wiki features, etc. There are a lot of things to do: 1.) Arranging Galleries. 2.) Expansion of articles that are short of content. 3.) Consistency in codings and text on articles. 4.) Extensive rules that I wish to discuss if ever promoted. 5.) Crackdown on Violence among users. 6.) Extensive communication system among Admins and Staff. 7.) A new Voting System for Admins. Here I stand before the community in hopes that we can build a more better community than what we have today in the future and it all starts with you guys by either oppose or support yet no matter what it is, I will respect and accept that with all my heart. Now, originally, I was not going to run for this. But, after some heavy thinking, I realize that I indeed should try to go for this. If you do not know who I am, let me explain; I did write a speech, but it burst into flames again. Anyway, stupid joke aside, to most of you, I am known by my actual name, Kaley, rather than "Silent" or "Glaive." If you have gotten to know me, then you know that I care a lot about each and every one of you. I have had experience dealing with other users and maintaining a reasonable attitude, as well as an understanding of how the admin dashboard works. I also know a little something about coding, too. An example is the Media-Wiki page for our staff members, in which tags were included such as "Janitor," "Comic Reader," etc. I've managed to take some time into becoming part of this wiki, and I do enjoy working with you all. So if you do decide to support me, I would appreciate it. However, if you do not feel like I am fit, then please do not be afraid on saying so. Just be sure it makes sense, for both supporting and opposing. If this does happen, I promise I will not take advantage of the position. I've learned that it is never to be taken advantage of. Howdy. To start off, I’m GRANDMASTA, most commonly known to you all as Masta or Drew. And I’m here to post my application for adminship on the wiki. I’ve been a member of The Walking Dead wiki since November 2012, and throughout the days I have been hooked to this wiki and never left. Editors come and go, but I’ve stuck around for a while, because all I want to do is expand the wiki and meet new people. I gained the Janitor staff position in May 2013, Chat Mod position in January 2014, and Comic Reader position in February 2014. I have accustomed over 10000 edits, and have had ideas of mine implemented into the wiki’s structure and pages. I am also very familiar with the admin dashboard. As an admin, I promise to stay in touch with the wiki whenever possible, ban vandals, and help out users in need. I will not abuse the status in any way, and I would love to join the current administrative team and help them expand the wiki. Ahoy there friends. It's come to that time, where finally; I am posting an application for the admin position. This is something I've been considering for a long time, and somewhat aspiring to, ever since I made my first edit back in August 2012. In my two years here; I've made over 7,200 edits, gained three staff positions and became a part of the community. I even got myself that fancy wikia star tab from 'they who must be obeyed'. I've been an admin and bureaucrat numerous times before and as such I am very familiar with the admin dashboard, so no worries there. I've also got a good lot of experience with coding, as I am currently studying web/software design at University. So with that, that's really all I can say in terms of qualifications. I spend most of my time here and I know the people well. So that's it then isn't it? So please leave any kind of feedback, whether it be a support or an oppose. Howdy. Most of you know me as Ghost. I've also heard Wolf, Wolfie, Brentwolf and many more. Anywho I've been a member of the wiki for sometime and I've seen it all. Lingering trolls, un-glamorous leaving of users and of course bad admins. We've done a lot to fix that, most of our admins are pretty damn good now and I'd love to be part of that team. I'm currently sitting at 9,313 edits and counting. I've been a chat mod for a few months now and I like to think I handle that well. I'm on chat often, and always help users when I'm able. Several people have expressed support for me, and I've been an admin on other wiki's before. So I figured why not? Welp, that's all she wrote. Hello, all. I've been giving this some thought, and after some asking around I got encouraged to finally apply for admin. Honestly, it's a little awkward, as I had a crash course of an application before this, but hey, I've changed for the better luckily. Back then I didn't really realize the responsibility and work it takes for an admin, but I think I'm fit for the bill at this point. Well first off, I am, as I'm usually called, Razor. (Or Christian, my real name.) I've been on the wiki since October 29th, 2012. Two months from now and I've been on here for three years, crazy how time has passed. While I may not have ten thousands of edits; as a matter of fact I have only half of that, I am more involved with the community than editing wise. This is something I think the wiki needs more of, as many of the admins are often busy with real life, and an odd number would also be good for voting and such. As I'm pretty active on the chat, I think I could take on the more social aspect on the admin team. As for admin experiences, I am currently admin on a fan fiction wiki that I helped found with some other lovely users, so I think I'm pretty set around the admin dashboard and whatnot. Well I'm not gonna keep it too long, all I can say is wish me luck, and I hope I will fit right in if I actually get accepted. Hey everyone. Now that an admin spot has been opened, I figured that I'd give this another try. I would fill this out with a bunch of my stats and what not, but I feel that nobody really cares about any of that, so I'll keep it concise. I've been on here for 3 years now and in that time I've done a lot. 27K edits and multiple staff positions, but that's not really important. The part that really matters is that I am very active and actively support every medium of the franchise (even FTWD, which I don't even enjoy) in order to have up to date information here on the wiki because editing is something I legitimately enjoy doing. The other point I feel I should make here is that I am an admin on numerous other wikis. Suffice it to say, I have become very familiar with the admin dashboard and know my way around it quite well. Maybe get some changes going with the infoboxes, and appearances sections, if the other admins comply. (referring to this: http://walkingdead.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:QueenOfEdge/Suggestion:_Character_Appearances_Template) However, my main point that I am getting at here is that we need another active admin. Mister T is really the only one left who is actively editing consistently. I think we should at least have another person, so Mister T isn't the only one that users come to. (yes, I know that users can come to the other admins for assistance, but they're more likely to go to him, given that his name is usually the one that is in the wiki activity.) So, that's it. Please leave all feedback down below, it's very helpful and much appreciated. And please don't hesitate to oppose me. If you think I'm not good for admin, despite what I said above, please feel free to do so. Just make sure that you communicate the reasons behind it to help me improve. I've come a long way on this wiki, maturing from some dumb angsty teen to a mature adult and a friend to most of the staff members here along with one the primary admins on our Discord. I've helped with decisions in the past and have always stayed true to this franchise. It is true I had a falling out with the series in the past year due to in real life problems (betrayals, floods, rough times, etc) and the lackluster (in my opinion) season 3 of the game and season 7 of the show but after The Walking Dead season 8, Fear season 4 and now the end of my Clementine's story has reignited my love for the franchise. I'm prepared to do help contribute to this wiki even more then I have already and bring this place into an era of peace. In terms of edits I have 5k of them and prepared to take on 5k more. I've spent five years alongside the admins of this wiki and know all the ins and outs of it, have dealt with numerous trolls and raids, and am the friend of at least twenty or so users on this wiki. I'm always reliable and can help out at any time. I never thought I’d ever have the opportunity to apply for this, let alone some semblance of a chance to make it. But... well... I also never thought Andrew Lincoln would leave the show. Shit happens, as they say. -insert machete through my head here- So, hi guys. I’m Jake, or Keep, or KeepOn, or “grammar nazi asshole” to some, whatever you wanna call me. I can assure you while I am a grammar freak, I don’t think I’m an asshole. I’ve been on this wiki for years now. I fell in love with TWD through the game and it’s become such an integral part of my life (speaking in terms of interests). I started with the show in Season 4, because I’m dumb, and my first episode was when Hershel went RIP and then Governor went OOF and before I knew it Prison went BURN BABY BURN and then it ended and all I could do was be intrigued and say “what the hell just happened?” Over time, I began to read the comics, catch up on the show, and play Season 2 of the game when it finally dropped. I was all the way in, and I became a dedicated fan once Season 5’s premiere dropped. And I’ve stuck with the walking dead multiverse ever since. Even though the slog of Season 8 (which wasn’t ALL bad but chrisr almighty, if I wasn’t in denial for the bad episodes I would’ve quit) almost killed my drive, and the horrendous back half of Fear S4 DID kill it for one week after the finale, Season 9 relit a fire I thought was dead for good. On a side note, THANK YOU ANGELA KANG. I’m active almost every day. Usually it’s me making small edits or fixes or adding in quotes or cropping photos (I will be the greatest photo cropper ever just you wait) but I want to do MORE than that. And I HAVE admin experience. I’m not saying this to advertise, but I’m one of the leading admins of The Walking Dead Fanon Wiki, and even though we are a small group of writers and fans, we have fun and I’m incredibly active. I have a lot to learn, yes, but who doesn’t? I would be honored if you, who is reading this, even considers me. But if not, that’s okay. There’s tons of other great candidates out there too. I'm going to try it again! I introduce myself to those who do not know me, my name is Francesco and in truth, I'm not on the wiki as a long time active user (October 2017), but I first followed it for a few months without registering to understand the various mechanisms. In any case, I have never stopped to follow any TWD media although in recent years my interest has slightly reduced, I have to say that FTWD (up to season 3) and the video games (yes, I also liked the third season) they helped me keep going on. Then what to say, I feel obsessed with this franchise as I also read the novel series. In any case, returning to the main topic, I really like to edit the wiki - reason why I decided to run as a janitor as first - and adding new contents, which can be photos for the gallery, information's about the new volumes of comics, new trivias while rewatching the episodes, cleaning the pages, etc.. I'm active almost 5 days out of 7 excluding the weekend, I'm open in finding a way that unites everyone when a problem arises and I am reasonable in addition to being able to recognize my own mistakes. Also, I really hate the edit wars and I always try to avoid them by going immediately to warn an admin. It's just a waste of time and it messes up the recent activity page. I just try to enjoy the wiki-life: I prefer to have a conversation and try to set up our differences instead of starting a flame. Of course, I still have a lot to learn, but it would be an honor for me to become an admin of this wiki. Hello everyone!!! My name is Anastasios Bilikaidis, but my friends call me BIGBROBILI. As most of you probably already know I'm a huge fan of The Walking Dead as a whole franchise: I love the comics and have read all of the issues by now, I love the show and have watched it at least three times by now and I also watch Fear TWD. I haven't played the Video Game Series, but I don't really think that is a problem, as I know a lot of users, as well as administrators who usually edit pages of a specific TWD media (3 out of 4 is a good number anyway, right?) Moreover, unlike many people, I haven't lost my passion for the world of TWD and I still love every media of it. Fixing links, reverting bad edits and adding interesting Trivia to the characters' pages are the most common thing you will see me do in this wiki. However, even though these are my favorite kinds of edits, my editing skills don't stop there. I can assure you about that. I am also a pretty kind user I think and have never been warned for a ban. I also think I have all the requirements, in order to become an administrator. That means: 1.At this point and after all of these departures I'm one of the oldest members of this wiki. Fun fact: I have actually been visiting this wiki, since 2014, but it wasn't until 2016 that I finally decided to create an actual account. Since then, I have literally been active every single day in the wiki. What does that mean? It means that I know how this wiki works. 2.I have completed 1000 and more edits at the time of my submission. As I write this I have completed almost 2200 edits. I know that this number isn't that big, compared to other users in this wiki, but I promise you, now that I have more free time, this number of edits will soon become a lot bigger. Because of school, I didn't have the time to edit that much, but as I already stated, expect this number to become at least x2 times bigger in the near future. I have always been visiting this site since 2012 when I fall in love with the show. It wasn't until last year that I decided to create an account to help to contribute to this site due to my love for the franchise and to help to update info for the fans and people who visit this site as well. If you check out my recent activity and contributions you see that I always help out in this wiki, being here almost every day and managing to achieve a goal of 6457 edits. I've been a member of this wiki for a long time, started out as an immature little pissant 13 year old and am now an immature big pissant undisclosedage-year-old. Getting to know so many people here has been great and terrible, I've met awesome people and I've met not-so-awesome-okay-fuck-it-downright-shitty people, but mostly awesome people. The community is epic, and with everything that's happened recently making me want to leave as well, I kinda... can't? Mostly because I stand with the community, and not with FANDOM. I do my best to make edits and be a part of the community in as friendly a way as possible (though even I can agree I'm a hardass most of the time), and I feel like I could totally be a positive dude for the team. Yes I can be a douche sometimes, but I never want to come off as a downright dickwad. I like 99.9% of the people here and don't even know the other 0.1%, so that's something. Plus, I'm already friends with some of the prior admins, so it's not like I don't got connections, wink wink nudge nudge jk pity me plz. Ladies and gentlemen of the jury... My name is Purry and before I begin I would like to note that despite my small edit count I have a big heart... Being apart of this Wiki community for most likely over half of my online existence, so far back into the depths of time that the wiki that was graced with Perry before Purry. Since 2013 I have been blessed with the luck of meeting the coolest people on the now-dead wiki chat and even more people on the previously-Wiki Discord server. I have seen many things while being apart of this community and despite my ghostly in-and-out presence over the past few years, I'd like to put forward my request for admin ship! I'm still a fan of The Walking Dead comics and Fear The Walking Dead and I despite not being able to play the Telltale version, I do keep up with it and am still interested in it's story line. I also keep up with the main Television franchise and occasionally tune in. I do think that over these years I have learnt (and still learning!) to be more mature and everyday is a learning day for me! Communicating with others, working towards a better community and helping to edit otherwise over-looked pages on the wiki is something I'm interested in and feel like I can put my efforts into! Plus, I'm usually always active around wikia (Even if it's not on this one, I'll usually see a message! I joined in 2016, but for around the last 2 years, I've done my best to contribute to the wiki as best I can. Since then I've helped out with numerous format changes and have tried my best to assist anyone I can regarding how to properly format a page, or if a certain edit would be okay. I've also done my best to help out if a troll/vandal was messing with the pages. I do admit that while I've made plenty of mistakes with editing in the past 2 years, I've also done my best to learn from them and become both a better editor and janitor. Hello everybody! My name is Zee Everett, and I am applying to become an administrator for The Walking Dead Wiki. I’ve been here in the community editing since November 2019, and have been an active user on Wiki’s official Discord since April 2021. As of June 20th, 2023, I am also now the current server owner and head administrator for the Wiki’s official Discord server. Currently, at the time of writing this, I’ve amassed over 2,170 edits, some of which have occurred during peak airing times of AMC’s Walking Dead Universe. I have also helped brought upon some of the most recent big changes and additions to the wiki, including the Gallery Previews, the new Relationship Section, and the upcoming Quote Section which will be coming sometime in the near future. My reasoning for applying to become an administrator is based on the huge amount of un-updated wiki maintenance and policy pages (Any pages known as “Walking Dead Wiki:Insert Whatever”). Many of these pages haven’t had large updates in some time, and some almost never. With most of the admins are looking upwards towards the more publicly visited pages, I feel like at least one should be trying to upkeep these pages. They aren’t the most important pages, but they’re the backbone of the wiki, and some need adjusting. As an example, the page “Walking Dead Wiki:Policy” has only been edited four times since its creation in 2009, all of which happened in May of 2022 by Mister T during a merger from another page and has had the under-construction template on it for long over a year now. Also, the policy isn't even linked on the main page despite there being a place for it. Another issue I have with a lot of these pages is related to the categories that they’re in. Simply said, they’re a complete mess. Navigating through these pages are already challenging as is, but with broken and dead-end categories galore, it’s pretty much impossible unless you know specifically what you’re looking for. If I become an administrator, I wish to fix these categories and create navigation templates for all of the backbone pages we have. Some of the other things I would like to do includes maintaining the administrator and staff pages for when new admins or staff leave or join, as well as updating the current staff position templates and making new ones for newer staff positions such as the Discord Admins and Mods. Of course, I will also still help with the most visited pages as I have been doing for the past 5ish years. Hello everybody and my fellow admins! It's me, Zee Everett. I've been planning to apply for a little while and I think it's finally time (Kayla is aiming a gun at me, please send hel--)! Jokes aside, this wiki is due for another Bureaucrat, we haven't had a second one since Devinthe66's departure at the end of 2022. It's been a year and a half and it's not really a good idea to only ever have one Bureaucrat on a wiki this big, Mr. T has even agreed with me on that already. Currently the only other admin eligible is Natalie (Rat sadly doesn't have enough edits yet and Wwefan's just too new), however I'm unsure whether or not she's interested. I though, would very much like to take a shot and apply. Over the course of my first year (yippe!), I've focused heavily on improving our backbone site pages, ranging from policies, portals, staff and admin pages, and revamping parts of the mainpage. One of these stand out the most right now and that's the improvements to Staff over the past few months, ranging from converting Wiki Janitors into Content Mods, the staff templates on the mainpage, and quality of life improvements on our archives. Dealing with Staff and Admin topics a lot means I run into the user rights system a lot when we get new staff, and (now especially so with Content Mods role) I feel like the Bureaucrat abilities fall hand in hand with my recent and soon-to-be future work. Plus, it would feel great to stop having to bug Mr. T about user rights all the time when I could easily do it myself if I could. Anyway, that's my request! Please consider!
