Walter is a domesticated dog whose corpse is found in "Around Every Corner" of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead: Season One. His owners' house is the house that Lee's group encountered in Savannah. When the group arrived, they found Walter's grave. He was dead of an unknown reason and later buried.
Pre-Apocalypse
Savannah, Georgia
Very little is known about Walter's life prior to or as the outbreak began. All that is known is that he was a domesticated pet that belonged to Fivel and his parents.
Post-Apocalypse
Season One
"Around Every Corner"
Nothing is known about what happened to him after the outbreak except he might have been attacked by walkers. This is speculated seeing as when Lee digs up his grave, he uncovers Walter's body with bite marks all over it. Inside the house, he is seen in a family portrait along with Fivel and his mother and father. Later on, he is then reburied with Fivel who died in the attic of the house.
"No Time Left"
A photograph of Fivel's family, including Walter, can be briefly seen in the living room of the mansion as a zombified Brie approaches Lee.

- Unknown Cause (Post-Apocalypse)
It is unknown how Walter died. He is found dead buried next to his dog-house. Lee Everett had to dig up Walter's grave to take an electronic collar from around his neck. Walter's corpse can be seen covered in various wounds, suggesting he may have possibly been attacked and killed by walkers, though this in not confirmed.
