Pre-Apocalypse[]
The city of Washington, D.C. served as the capital of the United States of America and the seat of the federal government. Aidan lived in the city where he worked as an architect.
Post-Apocalypse[]
When the outbreak occurred, a quarantine area was set up at the Capitol Building. It was eventually overrun along with the rest of the city, though pockets of survivors continue to live within the D.C. ruins.
