This Whisperer is a character and an antagonist first encountered in Issue 159 of Image Comics' The Walking Dead. He is a member of the Whisperers. After Alpha and Beta's demise, he becomes the last de-facto leader of the group. He served as the secondary antagonist of Volume 29: Lines We Cross.

At some point, this man joined the Whisperers.
This Whisperer and three others escort Beta off of the battlefield after he is severally beaten by Negan. After wave two is sent in, another Whisperer asks if anyone has seen Beta's face, to which this Whisperer responds with "no one has". A third Whisperer attempts to take off Beta's mask before being stabbed in the mouth. This Whisperer and two others look on in shock.
Five hours after wave one of the battle, Beta wakes up surrounded by the three Whisperers who accompany him, including this man. The four of them begin to make their way back to the Whisperer Camp so they can send in the super herd and end the war.
This man leads a group of Whisperers along with three newcomers. When the newcomers begin to talk to each other, this Whisperer starts to expel the newcomers from their way of life as they begin to refuse to adjust to it. He attempts to kill them before being shot in the head by Aaron, who alongside Paul Monroe, attacks and kills the last remaining Whisperers.
