The Whisperer War

This Whisperer and three others escort Beta off of the battlefield after he is severally beaten by Negan. After wave two is sent in, another Whisperer asks if anyone has seen Beta's face, to which this Whisperer responds with "no one has". A third Whisperer attempts to take off Beta's mask before being stabbed in the mouth. This Whisperer and two others look on in shock.

Five hours after wave one of the battle, Beta wakes up surrounded by the three Whisperers who accompany him, including this man. The four of them begin to make their way back to the Whisperer Camp so they can send in the super herd and end the war.

Lines We Cross

This man leads a group of Whisperers along with three newcomers. When the newcomers begin to talk to each other, this Whisperer starts to expel the newcomers from their way of life as they begin to refuse to adjust to it. He attempts to kill them before being shot in the head by Aaron, who alongside Paul Monroe, attacks and kills the last remaining Whisperers.

Killed By

After this Whisperer begins approaching the newcomers, ready to kill them, he is shot in the head by Aaron before he could do anything to them.

Volume 29: Lines We Cross

  • Not counting Alpha or Beta due to their aliases, he is the first completely unnamed character to be leader of a major antagonistic group in the Comic Series.
  • Due to this Whisperer taking leadership after Beta's death, it's possible he is the "gamma" of the group.
