William is a character in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. He is the ex-fiancé of Ofelia Salazar.
Overview[]
Although he is only seen briefly, William is shown to be a kind-hearted, charming, friendly, and caring man. He is very upfront, honest, and confident when talking with others. He is shown to be very serious about his relationship with Ofelia Salazar who he loves dearly. He proposes to her and asks her to go with him to Santa Fe, but she can't due to Ofelia's parents relying on her.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Santa Fe, New Mexico[]
All that is known about William's life is that at some point, he met Ofelia Salazar and fell in love with her, eventually prompting him to propose to her. However, after an unknown period of time, their engagement was broken.
Season 2[]
"Pillar of Salt"[]
In a flashback, William and Ofelia are enjoying lunch at a seaside restaurant in Rosarito. After the waitress clears their table, she brings out two glasses of water, one containing a ring in which William proposes to Ofelia. He also asks her to move to Santa Fe with him as he starts a new job. While Ofelia is hesitant, she is excited and agrees to talk to her mother about marrying William.
Post-Apocalypse[]
As the city of Santa Fe quickly fell to the undead, William's fate remains unclear.
