Wilt's posse is a group of survivors introduced in Season 7 of AMC's Fear the Walking Dead.

Overview

Wilt's posse refers to a group of survivors in Louisiana, mostly parents, who have had their children kidnapped by PADRE. In response to the kidnappings, the survivors have armed themselves, donned masks, and formed a posse to patrol the area for any PADRE Collectors or other strangers who may be involved. As a result of paranoia, fear, and anger, the posse has been burying people alive in the sand up to their necks and allowing the tide to drown them.

Post-Apocalypse

Season 7

"Gone"

Several members of the posse, led by the Burlap Masked Man capture Morgan Jones and bury him on the beach with their other victims. However, Madison Clark kills them and rescues Morgan, only to steal baby Mo to give to PADRE.

Wilt and the rest of his posse begin hunting down Morgan and Madison who was the Collector who took a number of their children, cornering them with Ava Sanderson in a crypt. Having lost her own child to Madison, Ava turns on the other two and attempts to force Morgan to tell the posse where to find Madison's children as leverage against her, only for Morgan to reveal that they are both dead. Devastated, Madison agrees to surrender to the posse who bury her on the beach to die and go after PADRE with Ava joining them.

A short time later, as Morgan rescues Madison, a zombified Wilt, Ava and six other posse members wash up on the beach, having been shot and killed by the PADRE guards. Morgan and Madison put the reanimated posse members down and Madison agrees to help Morgan rescue his daughter from PADRE.
