Yevgeny Romanov, simply known as Romanov, is an original and playable character who appears in The Walking Dead: Road to Survival.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Russia[]
Nothing is known about Romanov's life prior to or as the oubreak began.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Nothing is known about Romanov's experiences in the undead outbreak, other than that he is a fully adapted survivor.
Roadmap - Map Story #1[]
Sometimes during the apocalypse, Romanov finds himself killing some walkers along other survivors. Afterwards, they decide to travel to one of the Saviors' outpost to get to safety.
Along the way, Romanov tells another survivor about how he is still searching his loved one. The survivor warns not to let Negan see his girl if he's ever gonna find her, and Romanov asks him who's Negan is in response. Suddenly, they are interruped by a group of walkers.
After getting rid of them, Romanov asks again his question as the survivor explains that Negan is the Leader of the Saviors and that he can "steal" his girlfriend, if he wants. Romanov doesn't seem to like it.
They finally arrive to the Saviors' outpost and the survivor congratulates with Romanov for his combat skills, and the man explains how he used to be a soldier. The survivor asks to Romanov why a Russian soldier finds himself in Washington, D.C. and he simply answers that there's no much time, as a group of walkers suddenly approach them coming from the building. After disposing them, Romanov explains how he was in the Russian army a long time ago and how he moved to the United States after quitting it.
Roadmap - Map Story #2[]
As Romanov and the other survivor keep talking, Romanov notices the walkers chained to the fence and seems disgusted by it. After hearing some weird noise, they kills a group of walkers and begins to investigate on it and they find a reanimated Savior among other walkers. The man seems afraid by the situations as he explains that it was a long time since the walkers attacked the outpost.
After getting inside the outpost they find other dead Saviors, even a woman that the survivor knew, and no one else alive. They realize that the outpost was compromised and everyone there was dead.
Romanov and the other survivor get out of the building and they search a camion to get away as the survivor suggest to go warn Negan about what happened there. Anyway, Romanov decides to not follow him as he's still not convinced about Negan. The survivor seems enraged by it as he warns Romanov that he can't let him go as he knows the position of the outpost, but Romanov doesn't like that threat and the two starts a fight. The survivor stills try to convince Romanov to join the Saviors, but he doesn't want anyway. In the end, as Romanov seems to have the upper hand, the man surrenders and let him go, warning him to never come back there. Romanov leaves and continues to search for his lover.
